Luke is crouched down by a stream trying to wash off the unusually large amounts of blood that are smeared on his arms and down his leg. He turns at the sound of a shutter click. He looks at Emily. Emily looks at the unusually large amounts of blood and whips out her knife. She shouts at Luke not to come any closer. Luke knows the conclusion Emily is jumping to, and not wanting to escalate the situation or frighten her further, he charges up the trail towards her.
One of the most poignant moments in this week’s ‘House of Dragon’ was completely improvised.
‘Watchmen’ creator Alan Moore just called superhero fans a bunch of infantile fascists, and I’m here for it.

After a rocky first episode of the season, Saturday Night Live felt a little more sure of itself in last night’s episode. This week’s episode — though not perfect by any stretch — was much smoother and consistently funnier than the premiere. I certainly do not blame last week’s host for the mess that episode was, that was all about the writing, but I would be remiss if I didn’t give this week’s host, the wonderful Brendan Gleeson, his due for contributing to a more solid show. Gleeson was charming, light on his feet, and had natural comic timing: it was clear he was having a good time, and he brought the audience along with him.

Reba is holding the plate of warm s’mores, her flashlight still trained on Dead-eyes. His dead eyes get shifty. How did she know? Reba tells him a mother always knows … and reminds him that he can’t be there. He has a place, and as long as he stays there, everything is peachy keen. That’s their deal. Dead-eyes Walt simply says he needs to show her something.
