My client was deep asleep, your honor.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Late night had some thoughts about President Sacreligious fighting with the Pope, posting an image of himself as Jesus, and then lying and saying it was an image of himself as a doctor.

“Do you even care about lying to us anymore? Is this over? Has this relationship gone stale? Your lies used to have a real spark… And now the best you’ve got is, ‘Eh, no, I wasn’t Jesus. I’m a doctor!’ You need to go back and find your happy place and fast.” — Jon Stewart

“We have a fight between the president and the pope. The world has become a real-life episode of ‘South Park.’” — Jimmy Kimmel

“According to one Italian religious historian, not even Hitler or Mussolini attacked the Pope so directly and publicly. It’s never great when someone says, ‘You should really be more discreet and respectful. You know, like Hitler.’” — Stephen Colbert

David Letterman states the obvious.

Speaking of: “Why So Many Comedians Hate on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen.”

H’oh boy, another Real Housewife is in trouble with the law, this time Miami‘s Lisa Hochstein.

John Mulaney describes a “prank” that Will Forte played on him and Colin Jost when they took too long writing a sketch for him at Saturday Night Live, except it doesn’t sound like a prank at all, but a violent outburst. Ha?

I absolutely love that Sam and Dean live on in the pop culture universe.

“Clavicular” (which is the stupidest name for the stupidest person I unwillingly know about in this dystopian hellscape of our own making) had a disastrous 60 Minutes Australia interview, and it’s pretty funny.

Streamers are putting a lot of slop out there.

Hoping Dr. Pimple Popper stays healthy.

HEY. DON’T TAKE MEDICAL ADVICE FROM TIKTOK AND DON’T SHOVE GARLIC CLOVES WHERE THEY DON’T BELONG.

#MeToo

Democratic California Congressman Eric Swalwell has dropped out of the California gubernatorial race and has resigned from Congress after a former staffer accused him of raping her, and multiple other women came forward alleging misconduct. This, after a week or so of Swalwell denying the allegations, and claiming it was all a smear campaign from fellow Democratic opponents and MAGA operatives. He is now being investigated by the Manhattan DA’s office for the sexual assault that allegedly took place in New York City. Bye.

Soon after Swalwell made the announcement that he would be stepping down from Congress, Texas Republican Tony Gonzales announced that he, too, would resign from Congress. Gonzales has admitted to having a relationship with a married staffer who later committed suicide, and another woman has recently come forward claiming he demanded naked photos from her.

Actress Ruby Rose claims Katy Perry sexually assaulted her some 20 years ago. Perry’s team vehemently denies the story.

Gleb Savchenko claimed on Unwell Winter Games that his ex-girlfriend Brooks Nader, attacked him when he didn’t want to be intimate with her.

Jennie Garth says she got “bad vibes” from Dan Schneider and didn’t want to communicate directly with him on What I Like About You.

Lena Dunham claims Adam Driver was volatile and verbally aggressive on the set of Girls

Olivia Munn reveals that she once worked with an actor who objected to her character saving his because male fragility.

I guess supporting Sean Combs wasn’t enough, so now Usher is going on tour with unrepenetant abuser, Chris Brown. Cool cool cool.

Dammit, Ian McKellen, not you, too.

GOD DAMMIT, GUY FIERI.

Nick Lachey admits that when 98 Degrees first went on tour, someone gave them a book that listed the age of consent in every state. Gross.

An episode of Great British Baking Show that featured disgraced presenter, Scott Mills, has been pulled.

Disney was developing a film very similar to Netflix’s breakout KPop Demon Hunters, but ultimately didn’t move forward with it because the leads were female and they worried little boys wouldn’t be able to see themselves in the film. FIRST OF ALL, little girls have for all of history had to figure out a way to see themselves in stories that they weren’t included in. But second of all, teach your boys some empathy for chrissakes. Teach boys and men that female characters are human, and that they can find a way to connect to them.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673), which routes the caller to their nearest sexual assault service provider. You can also search for your local center here
