Day two of our Emmys voting, and I want to know who you think will take home the Emmys for Outstanding Direction in a Drama Series and a Comedy Series:

So obviously, they can’t fit all the Emmys into the Primetime broadcast, which will air next Monday on NBC. Instead, they presented a bunch of Emmys this weekend.

On Saturday, Bad Bunny became an Emmy winner as his Super Bowl Halftime Show took home 7 Emmys. Jimmy Kimmel won for Outstanding Host of a Game Show for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, while Jeopardy! won for Outstanding Game Show. Mariska Hargitay won two Emmys for her documentary about her mother, My Mom Jayne: A Film By Mariska Hargitay. Alan Cumming won for Outstanding Reality Host for Traitors, and Olivia Spencer won her first Emmy for Outstanding Narration for Lost Women of Alaska. Love on the Spectrum took home three Emmys, The Muppet Show won four, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won two.

On Sunday, we had some acting awards handed out: Shailene Woodley won for Guest Drama Actress for Paradise, and Ernest Harden Jr. won Guest Drama Actor for The Pitt. Betty Gilpin won Guest Comedy Actress for Widow’s Bay and Rob Reiner won posthumously for The Bear. David Harbor and Linda Cardellini both won for Supporting Actors in a Limited Series for DTF St. Louis. 

Overall, Widow’s Bay had the best night, taking home eight Emmys. DTF St. Louis won six; The Pitt won four. Palm Royale and Margo’s Got Money Troubles both also won three.

Oh, and South Park won an Emmy and celebrated hilariously:

You know this already, but the streamers are screwing us with price hikes. 

Joy Behar has now hosted more seasons of an American talk show than any other woman.

And tonight will mark the 4,000th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Even Fox News is getting tired of this Mitch McConnell charade.

They’re also not amused by President Piggy posting about renaming New Mexico.

Of course Maria Bartiromo is being considered for a role at Bari Weiss’ 60 Minutes. Obviously she is.

Over in the U.K., Sir Tom Jones has been fired from The Voice U.K.; he claims for financial reasons.

Y’all need to stop posting AI garbage about Dolly and be nice to her family.

We know more about the incident involving Jim Thornton, the Wheel of Fortune‘s announcer: reportedly, he was viewing a pedophile support chatroom with disturbing messages and images while ON AN AIRPLANE. Another passenger took photos of his screen and informed the flight crew, which led to Thornton being interviewed by law enforcement upon landing. They let him go. Wheel of Fortune has also let him go, firing him last week.

Below Deck Mediterranean‘s Nathan Gallagher is now wanted on an arrest warrant after he failed to show up in court on domestic violence charges. He has been fired from the show.

Ed Brubaker, the creator and showrunner of the upcoming Prime Video series Criminal, is being sued along with Amazon MGM and Amazon for “sustained sexual, racial, national origin, and religious harassment” by ljaaz Noobu, a former PA on the project.

The Real Housewives of New York City returns tonight, and yes, Carole Radziwill will talk about her name being in the Epstein Files.

Matt Guttman has been dropped from the wrongful termination lawsuit brought by a former ABC News employee.

The creator of Entourage, Doug Ellin, has slapped back at Debi Mazar’s claim that she found the set to be toxic when she returned from having her second child, calling her comments “disgusting.” OK.

Maggie Gyllenhaal calls the lack of female directors in the Venice Film Festival a “systemic problem,” and she’s not wrong.

Sandra Bullock and Denise Di Novi, the producer of Practical Magic, recalled that when the original movie came out, people asked why there needed to be so many women in one movie. See Maggie Gyllenhaal’s comment above.
