Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Hello and Happy Labor Day! This is going to be a quick post because 1. there’s just not that much news out there, but also 2. it’s Labor Day and I don’t want to work. Your regular TV nonsense will be back tomorrow in its full nonsensical glory.
In the meantime, it turns out the Primetime Emmys will take place in exactly one week. Between now and then, I am going to post some polls where you can vote on who you think will take home the Emmys in a particular category next Monday. Or you can vote on who you think SHOULD win the Emmy; I can’t tell you what to do. Feel free to tell me in the comments how you voted (will vs. should), and if you think your choice for who “will win” is different from who “should win.” (Or if your choice for who “should win” will be different from who “will win.” Whichever. Again, you have free will. Exercise it.)
First up: Outstanding Writing in a Comedy and a Drama Series:
And hey, while we’re clicking clickies, do me a favor and go check your voter registration status. What else do you have to do on your day off?
If you are in Texas, you can check your registration here. (And be sure to check a few more times before October 5th, as they intend to keep purging.)
If you are anywhere else in the country, check your registration here.
