Let’s start with the bad news: The bad news is that no, sadly Timeless is not being saved by Netflix, Amazon or Hulu.
But the good news is that Timeless will be getting that two-hour finale movie after all. It looks like the movie will air during the holiday season.
“While we wish we could’ve made another dozen seasons of ‘Timeless,’ this is the next best thing,” co-creators Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke said Tuesday. “We’re thrilled to take the Lifeboat out for one last spin and bring closure to our story. The studio, network, cast and crew are all doing this for one reason only: the fans. Because they deserve it. Because the fans made this happen and we thank them for their passion, support and helicopters. So? You guys want to get Rufus back or what?”
You can now live in Riverrun Castle and live out all your Blackfish dreams.
Speaking of Game of Thrones, Y’ALL NEED TO BE NICER TO CERSEI LANNISTER AND LEARN SOME GOD DAMNED MANNERS. HOW DARE YOU.

So whatever happened to Heath, Daniel and Dwight and will we ever see them again?
Charlie Sheen says he can relate with Roseanne Barr. I BET HE DOES.
Dummy Junior thinks it’s hypocritical that Netflix would happily bring back Aziz Ansari, while Roseanne was fired by ABC because he is a very, very, very stupid person.
This is an interesting history of the first “interactive” TV show.
If you’re interested in the business end of TV, here is what the head of Netflix had to say about their mega-deals with creators like Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy; and the differences in the ways Netflix and Amazon are approaching the streaming business.
Demi Lovato is still hospitalized. Here’s hoping she gets better soon.
Alan Alda revealed he has Parkinson’s this morning. Take care of yourself, Mr. Alda!
Congratulations, Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero!
Time’s Up
Your Les Moonves update: he was not removed by the board of CBS … yet. His name has been removed from Bucknell University’s website which is his alma mater. Meredith Viera says that while she was at CBS and 60 Minutes, she was never personally harassed, but that there was “sexism, for sure.” Julie Chen said on The Talk yesterday that she will stand by her statement of support for her husband forever. He promoted a zero tolerance policy towards harassment in a March 2017 email.
And if you were wondering what the whole Moonves/Redstone kerfuffle is about, this is a good explainer. Moonves
Stephen Colbert addressed the Les Moonves story last night in an eloquent statement. Colbert noted that while Moonves is one of his biggest supporters, and stood by him during his ratings drought, that Moonves is “his guy,” accountability still matters for everyone, for even the leader of a network or the leader of the free world.
In a non-Moonves story, the Guardians of the Galaxy cast, including Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, signed a letter in support of James Gunn and called for him to be reinstated as the director of the upcoming sequel.
