For the first time ever, Saturday Night Live will air live in all four time zones for its final four episodes. The hosts will be:
- Jimmy Fallon on April 15.
- Chris Pine on May 6.
- Melissa McCarthy on May 13.
- Dwayne Johnson for the season finale May 20.
And they are going to give “Weekend Update” a limited primetime run in August. Now if they’d only replace the anchors with someone funny.
Our friend Rachel The First Black Bachelorette (that is now her official name, I’m afraid) began filming her season last Thursday, and the season itself will begin airing on Monday, May 22nd, giving me two Bachelor-free months.
This is Us ended its season without telling us how Jack died, but if it makes you feel better, the cast knows how he dies. (It doesn’t make me feel better.)
Tyra Banks is returning to America’s Next Top Model. BYE RITA ORA BYE.
Netflix is making some changes, including adding a button that allows you to skip the opening credits, and simplifying the rating system. Bingers rejoice!
Everyone is putting together their summer schedules: We finally know when the talking dog series, Downward Dog (and all of ABC’s other summer programs) will debut. NBC has released its summer premiere dates for Midnight, Texas and The Carmichael Show, among others. And CBS has announced when Big Brother and Zoo will return.
Sesame Street is adding its first autistic muppet.
Jake Johnson is pretty sure New Girl will not be renewed for another season. Sad emoji here.

- Young Sheldon, The Big Bang Theory spinoff, has been picked up to series.
- Fleabag is going to have a second season, and it might be here before you know it, hooray!
- FX’s Getty family anthology series, Trust, will debut in January.
- L.A. Burning: The Riots 25 Years Later, a documentary by John Singleton, will debut on A&E on April 18, the 25th anniversary of the L.A. riots, and you are so old.
- MTV is thinking about rebooting Scream for a third season.

- Rev Run’s family comedy pilot is getting another shot at ABC.
