Let’s start speculating wildly on who Jim Broadbent is going to play on ‘Game of Thrones.’ I’ll start.

Oscar-winning actor Jim Broadbent has joined the cast of Game of Thrones for a “significant” role. I’m thinking he’s going to be a maester — if not the archmaester — in Oldtown. Who do you think he’ll be?

In other Game of Thrones news, this post about filming beginning in Belfast is not all that revelatory, except for the bit that extras have been lined up to play (SPOILER!) Mormont soldiers. Which means Little Lady Badass is still playing a role in the next season, hooray!

And apparently, the Game of Thrones cast love them some burritos.

The Tonight Show gave us the Barb catharsis we all needed:

According to this interview with the Duffer Brothers, we can expect nine episodes, four new characters and a lot of James Cameron in the second season of Stranger Things.

CBS’s new “commercial-free” streaming service is neither free nor even commercial-free. For $6 a month, you are still subject to Larry the Cable Guy Prilosec commercials, but you can pay $10 a month for a “commercial-free” experience. Except that even at $10 a month you are subject to “‘promotional interruptions’ … brief, but un-skippable, promos — 15 seconds at most, and no more than two promos per half-hour — for other CBS shows”? You can call them what you like, CBS, but promos for other CBS shows are still commercials, and your streaming service sounds like a hot pile of lying garbage.

Oooh, might American Horror Story be going back to that whole alien subplot in Asylum this season? Maybe!

Rick Perry is the least likely competitor to win Dancing with the Stars. Oops.

Bill Nye is going to have his own talk show on Netflix, and no one will ever be ignorant again. (One can dream.)

In other development news:

Mary J. Blige claims she wants no more drama, but then she goes and takes a guest role on How to Get Away with Murder. So which is it, Mary?

Shannen Doherty is brave, and we wish her the very best.
