We should have learned that you can’t kill off ‘Jon Snow’ that easily.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Jon Snow’s not dead yet. According to Kit Harison, the rumors of the Jon Snow spinoff being scrapped altogether are inaccurate:

It’s open knowledge that we tried to make a Jon Snow show for a little while, and just couldn’t. My main thing is not wanting to go there and do an injustice by the character. I think he ended well. I think that he went where he was meant to. So if you pick him up again, it needs to be for the right reasons.

But I did feel there was something left to say. And I did think the idea of exploring something entirely around him or a lot around him, would be interesting. Because remember, in Game of Thrones, you’re part of a huge ensemble. It would be quite an excuse to get a character dive more focused on. That’s why I was intrigued.

But we couldn’t find the right thing. So we put it down. For the moment. Maybe there’ll be a time…you know, he’s not dead, and that’s the amazing thing, is that he could be picked up again. And I also feel a lot older and wiser than I was when… maybe not wiser, than I was when I left Game of Thrones. There might be part of me that wants to go back and re-look at the character. I don’t know yet, but there’s nothing being planned at the moment.

Michael Knight’s soap opera acting advice to Nathan Fillion is literally genius.

Is Paramount finally getting tired of all the shitty things Bari Weiss is doing at CBS News and all of the bad press it garners? Maybe!

Now Bill Belichick is whinging about deceptive editing in his CBS Sunday Morning interview. Cry harder, Bill.

Here’s more information about Andy Cohen than any of us really needed to know.

Here’s more information about William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett than any of us really needed to know.

Hold up, people are mad that an obvious publicity stunt was a publicity stunt? Shut up.

A periodic reminder that Kelsey Grammer is an asshole. (And I’m not a huge fan of Camille’s.)

I do not usually care about celebrities’ love lives, but I do love these two together and hope they stay together forever and ever.

#MeToo

After multiple women came forward alleging they had been raped by partners they met on Married at First Sight U.K., that they told Channel 4, and that Channel 4 aired their episodes anyway, Channel 4 launched an investigation and chose to pull all episodes from their broadcast and streaming platforms.

Harry Weinstein’s recent rape trial in New York ended in a hung jury.

Jermaine Jackson was ordered to pay a woman $6.5 million after failing to respond to her claims that he raped her in 1988.

The chairs of the Republican and Democratic Women’s Caucuses have teamed up to battle sexual misconduct in Congress.

Cate Blanchett is pissed that #MeToo was shut down so quickly. Not here on FoolishWatcher, Cate. I’m still screaming about this shit.

And Javier Bardem has had it with toxic masculinity:

“I’m 57 years old, coming from a very machista country called Spain, where there is an average of two women killed monthly by their ex-husbands or ex-boyfriends, which is horrible. Just that amount of women being murdered, it’s unbelievable,” he observed. “And we kind of normalized it. It’s like, ‘Well, yeah, it’s horrible.’ I mean, are we fucking nuts? We are killing women because some men think they own them, they possess them.

“And that problem also goes to Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin and Mr. Netanyahu, the big balls man saying, ‘My big, my c*ck is bigger than yours, and I’m gonna bomb the shit out of you.’ It’s a fucking male toxic behavior that is creating thousands of dead people, so yeah, we have to talk about it. And I think we are talking about it…”

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673), which routes the caller to their nearest sexual assault service provider. You can also search for your local center here
