CNN has suspended Chris Cuomo indefinitely following the revelation that he was using his media contacts to research his brother’s victims. Cuomo says he “understands” the decision and otherwise won’t be speaking on it because he “respects” CNN’s process. Anderson Cooper 360 will get a second hour to fill Cuomo’s primetime space.
And you’ll never guess who has Chris Cuomo’s back. Hey, Fox News? Maybe sit this one out.
“Helping a brother, and a friend, in the worst moment of their life is probably not the worst offense," said Fox News' Sean Hannity in defense of Chris Cuomo. https://t.co/g2DhADNqo1

I don’t know what is going on with this drip … drip … drip … of Game of Thrones news, but here are today’s stories:
1. That prequel series HBO ditched cost $30 million — more than any episode of Game of Thrones — and they still chose to walk away from the whole thing rather than reshoot or reimagine it. Interesting.
2. If you have plans to go to Northern Ireland anytime soon and are a fan of the series, check out the new studio tour that will open in February. (It’s not at Titanic Studios in Belfast, but rather Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge.)
Not gonna lie: any excuse to post pictures of Henry Cavill:
Hey, remember the mansion that Adrian Brody’s character lives in on Succession? Guess how much it just sold for in real life.
Narrowing just the 10 most outrageous moments from It’s Always Sunny is a fool’s errand.

Last Week:

This Week:

Do not be comforted by these numbers. Traditionally, reporting over a holiday declines; and other sources, namely Worldometers, suggest that yesterday’s number was actually more like 106,876 new cases and 1,438 deaths. And these numbers are not going to improve thanks to the holiday. Expect another surge to be showing up in a week or two.
Depressing fact: there have been more deaths from COVID in 2021 than 2020 — even though the vaccine has been available all year long. Disinformation and willful stupidity are powerful, man.
The Omicron Variant sounds like a 60’s sci-fi movie pic.twitter.com/CAAZJaRtqm
— Christopher Miller (@chrizmillr) November 27, 2021
And then there’s Omicron, the new variant that was first detected in South Africa and is spreading around the world. In fact, we just found our first case here in the States (though it certainly is not the only case here). Not much is yet known about this variant, so I don’t want to spread hysteria, but early evidence from Israel suggests the vaccine might be effective against it. Get vaccinated, get boosted, and maybe until we can get through the winter, wear a mask in public places to protect you and yours. And if you’re over 60, maybe rethink your travel plans.
Also, no, it’s not a Democratic plot to go back into lockdown. Do you idiots really think Biden and the Democrats want to go back to lockdown?
Fox host Lara Logan says that people tell her that Dr. Fauci doesn't represent science, but represents Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor known as the "Angel of Death" for performing medical experiments at Auschwitz: "I am talking about people all across the world are saying this" pic.twitter.com/fF2DAWfG7d
— Oliver Darcy (@oliverdarcy) November 30, 2021
Many people had feelings about this disgusting comparison:
Exploiting the tragedy of people who became victims of criminal pseudo-medical experiments in Auschwitz in a debate about vaccines, pandemic and people who fight for saving human lives is shameful. It is disrespectful to victims & a sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline.
— Auschwitz Memorial (@AuschwitzMuseum) November 30, 2021
Utterly shameful.
Josef Mengele earned his nickname by performing deadly and inhumane medical experiments on prisoners of the Holocaust, including children. @LaraLogan, there is no comparing the hell these victims went through to public health measures.
An apology is needed. https://t.co/eYDPT6KiEK— American Jewish Committee (@AJCGlobal) November 30, 2021
There’s absolutely no comparison between COVID-19 mitigation efforts and what happened to Jews during the Holocaust. This includes making outlandish analogies suggesting Dr. Fauci is akin to Nazi war criminal Josef Mengele, known for his gruesome medical experiments on prisoners. https://t.co/XHsQsf2inF

Dr. Fauci on Ted Cruz saying he should be prosecuted: "I should be prosecuted? What happened on January 6, senator?"
And on Republicans scapegoating him: "That's okay. I'm just gonna do my job, and I'm gonna be saving lives, and they're gonna be lying." pic.twitter.com/fJm1Hh8lSJ

And then there’s this: Former President Superspreader was, in fact, a super spreader, who had tested positive three days before his debate against Joe Biden and was symptomatic on the day of. I’m disgusted but not surprised nor shocked.
Aaron Rodgers is still out here showing his full ass. After going on a radio interview where he said he had COVID toe, he got mad when The Wall Street Journal reported the same thing, and in the process named the wrong reporter as being responsible, which must have been fun for her. And now he’s claiming that someone in the Packers is leaking his medical information to the press. Or — and hear me out, Aaron — YOU’RE THE LEAKER ALL ALONG. Please see the part where YOU KEEP GOING ON A RADIO SHOW TO TALK ABOUT YOUR HEALTH ISSUES, YOU DINGDONG.
Marcus Lamb, an anti-vaccine broadcaster on the Christian Daystar Television Network, has died of COVID-19. Wanna guess what his position was on the vaccine?
LeBron James is missing several games after apparently testing positive.
