I could watch the World Cup booing President Diapers on an endless loop

Oh Gemma, I get it.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

The World Cup came to a dramatic end this weekend, when Spain beat Argentina 1-0, a score that completely fails to express just how much Spain dominated the game

President FIFA Peace Prize insisted on handing out the trophies, and, shocking to no one, was booed mercilessly as he entered the field. (He was also booed at the beginning of the game during the National Anthem.) I mean, at this point, he must have a humiliation fetish that involves going to stadiums and being booed, right?

President Tone Deaf then tried to photobomb Spain’s picture accepting and lifting the trophy, but Spain just edited him out, lol. The goblin had to be dragged off the stage by FIFA President Infantino.

Oh, and there was also a halftime show for the first time in World Cup history: Madonna! Who was good! Shakira! Who was good! BTS! Who was good! THE MUPPETS! WHO WERE GREAT! Ted Lasso! Who was good! And Justin Bieber, who apparently thought he was playing an acoustic set at a coffee house in 1994.

But don’t forget in the warm glow of the aftermath of a fun World Cup that FIFA is horribly corrupt. See ya in four years!

The Emmys are cutting back on televised categories to try to make the show more entertaining. The categories that won’t be broadcast are: writing for a variety series; supporting actor and actress in a limited/anthology series or movie; directing for a limited series/anthology or movie; and writing for a limited series/anthology or movie.

President Congestive Heart Failure’s whinging about “rigged” elections began with the Emmys. This man’s narcissism is so profound, he can not accept losing anything, and he’s willing to take our democracy down because of it.

Paramount’s legal challenges to its takeover of Warner Bros. continue and might cost them a lot of money if things aren’t settled by September. Oh no.

In all the noise surrounding Paramount and Warner Bros., there’s another potential merger that Democrats are sounding the alarms on: Fox Corp’s acquisition of Roku.

Fan of Beyond the Gates? Enter to win a chance to visit the set and be a guest on the show!

Larry David called out Robert Kennedy Jr. — his TV ex-wife’s actual husband — on his show Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, and I’m here for it.

Hey, Bill? When Bill O’Reilly is praising you, you’re doing something wrong. But seriously, Maher becoming Republican — Maher outing himself as a Republican — is the least surprising thing happening this year.

The drama between the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast and Taylor Frankie Paul explained, if you’re interested. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out for ABC and Hulu: Paul is the most famous of the cast, but she’s also neck-deep in dark controversies. Will they bring her back to the show, or cut her free to be done with the drama already?

Lol, Bari Weiss is reportedly trying a “friendlier” approach at CBS News. Good luck with that!

Speaking of, heckuva job, Weissy!

Tom Brady slapped Logan Paul this past weekend at Fantatics Fest, and yes, it was almost certainly staged, and yes, I dislike Tom Brady, but I’d be lying if I said the video wasn’t deeply satisfying.

Shark Tank‘s Kevin O’Leary and Fox News are being sued after claiming that people protesting his data center plan were proxies for China. Good. Sue harder.

Amazon’s God of War series, which was already facing some controversy after the release of an early look photo, just announced they would be recasting the lead actor after Ryan Hurst tore his bicep in an on-set injury.

Josh Holloway, the actor who played Sawyer, figured out one of the Island’s biggest secrets while filming the first season of Lost, which freaked out Damon Lindelof.

American Horror Story is returning soon: here’s who is returning and as which character.

(Belated) Happy 16,000 episodes, General Hospital!

It doesn’t sound like Kristen Storms will be returning to General Hospital anytime soon.

Sometimes you just want a little show you can binge in its entirety in a weekend. Or on a long plane ride.

No, but seriously, what the hell is going on, guys?

Jimmy Kimmel might be on vacation, but he’s still cracking jokes:

Get well soon, Jeana Keough.

Love is dead.
