MSNBC was banned from the Kyle Rittenhouse trial after the judge (who is a complete lunatic, by the way) claimed that a producer from the news channel was following the jury bus. He also admitted he doesn’t know “the ultimate truth of it.” MSNBC claims that one of their freelancers was given a traffic citation near the bus, but was not attempting to contact or photograph the jurors. The police confirm that the jurors’ security was never breached, and no photographs were taken.

Judge Schroeder has been widely criticized for his handling of the trial and comments he’s made during it, so he’s now reconsidering allowing media access:
Judge Schroeder is furious that the media recorded and broadcast his very own words and actions. https://t.co/iH9A6GJ3tC

The Netflix docuseries, Who Killed Malcolm X?, recently helped exonerate two men wrongfully convicted of murdering the civil rights leader. Just yesterday, a New York judge vacated the convictions of Muhammad A. Aziz and Khalil Islam, thanks in large part to the docuseries that not just argued for their innocence but also made a case for others’ guilt. The Wrap has a good list of other TV shows that have helped solve crimes, including The Jinx, Unsolved Mysteries, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Squid Game‘s dominance of the streaming charts has been ended by a pair of psychopaths.
Speaking of Squid Game … TIP: If you are a celebrity couple worth millions, do not host a party based on a dystopian series about the violence of wealth disparity. It’s not a great look, and it suggests that the entire point of the series went directly over your dumb heads. It basically makes you SPOILER: Oh Il-nam.

This article makes a convincing argument that these are The Rules of Logan Roy’s Game on Succession. I still want Cousin Greg to win it all.
I want to burn Variety’s list of the Top 20 HBO shows of all time TO THE GROUND. How DARE you put Oz, Sex and the City, Insecure, and Boardwalk Empire ahead of The Leftovers and Watchmen. Silicon Valley was better than The Leftovers? HOW VERY DARE YOU.
Wheel of Fortune fans are PERSNICKETY.
A thing I did not know until today: the showrunner of The Wheel of Time was once a contestant on Survivor. In fact, there are a lot of TV writers who have been contestants on Survivor. Who knew? (I mean, besides the author of this list.)
You can now download Amazon video content on your computer, not just your phone.
Disney has raised the price of Hulu + Live TV by $5 a month but added Disney+ and ESPN+ to the bundle, so that’s not actually a terrible deal?
Republicans have lost their minds. Sesame Street better change its tune, or it’s going to lose the valuable … CPAC demographic?

That Variety list of the best HBO shows is clearly a troll job, right?
I mean it has to be. “Girls” is better than “The Leftovers?” Get out of my face.
