Girlfriend’s Day: Bob Odenkirk stars as a romance card writer who gets caught up in a murder in this new movie. Netflix

You, Me, Her: The polyamory comedy starring Amy Poehler’s brother, Greg, is back for a second kinky season. 7:30 Audience

Independent Lens: Tower: A look back at the horrible University of Texas tower shooting. Unrelated: the GOP-held House just voted to lift the Obama administration gun law to prohibit the mentally ill from buying guns. 9 p.m., PBS

WEDNESDAY

Doubt: Katherine Heigl is back on TV with this new legal drama, but more importantly: Laverne Cox. Series premiere. 9 p.m., CBS
