Maisie Williams sums up ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 in two words: “holy BALLS”

• For those of you who were hoping for a lighter, happier, more upbeat Game of Thrones next season, I have some disappointing news. 

• And might a long dead character be returning next season? One former cast member’s Instagram account suggests he might be in Northern Ireland. (Don’t click through if you don’t want to be spoiled.)
• So TV Land has gone and cancelled The Jim Gaffigan Show. It’s a shame; after a mediocre first season, the show really came into its own in the second. “The Trial” and “The Mike Gaffigan” episodes were original and unlike anything I’ve ever seen on a sitcom.
• Elsewhere, Below Deck Mediterranean has been renewed. This is why we can’t have nice things, America.
• Hey, book nerds, Netflix is turning Anne of Green Gables in to a series.
• Willie Geist has been shoved out of the third hour of The Today Show to make room for credulous idiot Billy Bush.
• Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Fred Savage and Nat Faxon are going to star in your next Netflix obsession, comedy Friends from College.
• Grace Gummer refuses to be straight with us on how she got hurt on the set of Mr. Robot. WHAT ARE YOU HIDING, GRACE GUMMER?
• In news that is only interesting to my car-obsessed son, a former BBC executive regrets firing Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear.
• Of course Chris Hardwick’s wedding featured Tardises and zombies. Mazel Tov!
