The future of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ is surprisingly uncertain

I get it, Tina.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Disney president and chief creative officer Dana Walden is saying a bunch of noncommittal things about renewing Jimmy Kimmel Live! And, look, this could just be a negotiation tactic on her part. But if it’s not, and they cancel the show, I hope she understands that no amount of talk about the economics of the situation is going to assuage the belief that it was done for political reasons.

John Oliver and Seth Meyers were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and joked that they will always have jobs as long as he’s on the air because he draws all of the White House’s ire. I have some not-so-great news for you guys …

Warner Bros. does not think it’s cute for Chris Harrison and Fox Nation to use Bachelor symbolism to promote his new show.

It’s going to be called “Skydance.”

It’s sounding like HBO Max and Paramount+ will remain separate streamers and be bundled together rather than become one giant streamer.

LOL, no one wants to make the Glee reboot because Ryan Murphy is a big bully, and they all think it’s going to be about Lea Michele’s character because it absolutely will be.

Now that Ben Affleck has a Netflix movie coming out, he’s having to walk back some things bestie Matt Damon said about how Netflix makes movies. And leaving aside the whole Netflix of it all, and whether or not it’s true they make filmmakers repeat plot points so that people playing on their phones can still follow what’s happening, I love that these two remain so intrinsically connected that they are required to speak for one another.

Heal quickly, Joy Behar!

Congratulations to Jim Carrey and Min Ah!

CNN might be safe from Bari Weiss, for the time being.

President Dirtbag keeps messing with CNN’s access to him, kicking them off, again, of Air Force One.

He’s also REAL MAD at Fox News for having a single Democratic voice on. Occasionally.
