Welp. The Paramount/Warner Bros. merger is all but a done deal, like it or not.

No matter how many possums you think are in this pile, you’re wrong. There are more. I promise.

@funny_farm

I have been so crazy with opossum/ rescue calls. I have lists of individuals and where they have come from but it’s been so crazy for some reason I might have miscounted somewhere, I need to do another full count, sex everyone and separate males and females But for tonight they’ve been cleaned out, reset and fed. It honestly feels like I get one or two baby opossums every day. I’ve never seen anything like this. Opossums are fairly new to my area as I am so very far north in NY.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

You know who still doesn’t like it? Mark Ruffalo. (And this blogger.)

South Park is just desperate to be canceled, begging for it.

Starz and Verizon FiOS are having a slap fight, and Starz has gone dark.

It’s time to start thinking about your Halloween costume.

Belated congratulations to Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris.

Obviously, Brendan Carr’s FCC doesn’t have a problem with the White House running explicitly political ads paid for by the taxpayers weeks before an election. Obviously.

Speaking of Brendan Carr:

We are getting to the nitty-gritty. October 5 is Monday, and that’s your last day to register to vote, or to reinstate your registration if, somehow, mysteriously, it was deactivated. Please check your status and get ready to vote.

If you are in Texas, you can check your registration here. (And be sure to check a few more times before October 5th, as they intend to keep purging.)

If you are anywhere else in the country, check your registration here.
