Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
You’ll be able to live your Gilmore Girls winter fantasy in the middle of Southern California this December.
Josh Brolin was nearly your Hal Jordan. (He would have been good, but Kyle Chandler has been great.)
Apple TV’s bet on quality television is finally paying off. Now if they would only promote their shows a little.
Somehow, American Horror Story 13 has a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score amongst critics? Which, absolutely not? First of all, I watched it with my eyeballs, and it was terrible*, and I refuse to believe that there are ANY reputable critics who were like, “Yep, great show, 100%.” And sure enough, when you go to Rotten Tomatoes, this perfect score is based on five reviews, only one of which is from a site I recognize. So I guess it’s easy to have a “perfect score” if you just don’t include any negative reviews, like this one.
* I will note that there is an interesting theory floating around out there about AHS:13 that involves AI, which, if it proves to be right would be (kinda) fun. But I also think, as someone who has watched so much American Horror Story, that this person is giving Ryan Murphy waaaaaaaay too much credit.
The Yankees/Red Sox rivalry is almost as legendary as the Kimmel/Damon feud.

Everyone stand down; Al Roker is fine, he just had jury duty.
Genuinely hoping Milania Giudice gets the help she needs.
Glad to hear Alyssa Farrah Griffin’s infant son is recovering after a scary incident.
Hoping Will Reeves stays cancer-free. Also: fuck cancer.
James Talarico will participate in the debate video platform, Jubilee, and CNN will broadcast the whole thing on October 14. Related: Ken Paxton is refusing to debate Talarico because he’s a coward.

#MeToo
A woman has alleged that two years ago, seven fraternity brothers at Cornell University drugged and raped her. She reported the incident (whose details are horrific and infuriating) to Cornell University Police Department, but no criminal charges were ever filed. Instead, two of the men were expelled, and others were allegedly required to write essays as a punishment. In fact, two of the accused men are currently enrolled at the school. The woman is now suing Cornell University, arguing the school and law enforcement officials did not do enough to investigate. In response to the outcry from the lawsuit, a prosecutor has announced he is reopening an investigation.
Florence Pugh called for men to condemn this case alongside women:

And former South Park writer, Toby Smith, has launched a website, thecornell7.org, documenting the case.
Jodie Turner-Smith and her brother Richard Smith are being sued by three women, claiming Richard pressured them to do drugs and have sex. Turner-Smith is being dragged into this because Richard doesn’t have any money of his own in theory, because Turner-Smith financially supported her brother. Turner-Smith denies all of the allegations.
Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 15 years in prison following his New York retrial. Good.
Sean Combs’ former staff have found jobs on Chris Brown and Usher’s tour. Obviously.
The woman who accused Jay-Z of sexual assault has recanted her allegations. Jay-Z is pursuing a lawsuit against her attorney, Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee.
If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673), which routes the caller to their nearest sexual assault service provider. You can also search for your local center here.
