LOTS of TV stuff, but first: GO VOTE!

BEFORE WE GET STARTED: it is the first day of early voting here in Texas, and I’ve already done my civic duty. I can’t tell you how many times I checked and quadruple-checked that my vote was cast for the first female president and not for a felonious traitor, but I did and IT FELT GREAT.

And don’t forget to vote down ballot no matter where you are. President Harris will need a majority in Congress to get anything accomplished; if Mike Johnson is still Speaker of the House there is a chance he will refuse to certify a Harris victory; and the Republicans need to hear loud and clear that this Christian nationalist Handmaid’s Tale road that they have been traveling on for the past decade (two decades?) is unacceptable to the majority of the United States.

VOTE! And then come tell me you voted, so we can celebrate together!

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Someone is still wishing SO HARD that President Biden was in the race instead of Vice President Kamala Harris:

CBS News and 60 Minutes have responded to Former President Sore Loser’s accusations that they did something illegal with their interview of Vice President Harris:

“Former President Donald Trump is accusing 60 Minutes of deceitful editing of our Oct. 7 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. That is false.

60 Minutes gave an excerpt of our interview to Face the Nation that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes. Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response. When we edit any interview, whether a politician, an athlete, or movie star, we strive to be clear, accurate and on point. The portion of her answer on 60 Minutes was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide ranging 21-minute-long segment.

“Remember, Mr. Trump pulled out of his interview with 60 Minutes and the vice president participated. Our long-standing invitation to former President Trump remains open. If he would like to discuss the issues facing the nation and the Harris interview, we would be happy to have him on 60 Minutes.”

Former President Shitshow claimed that Fox News writers helped him write his “jokes” for the Al Smith dinner last week, but Fox News was like, “DON’T LOOK AT US.”

And now he’s talking about a dead golfer’s penis and cosplaying as a McDonald’s employee while refusing to talk about raising the minimum wage, getting his lying ass sued by the Exonerated Five, and doubling down on calling half of the country the “enemy from within.” This is the man that at least 33% of the country thinks should be President of the United States. WHY?

PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU: VOTE.

And now for a hard left turn:

If this video of Andrew Garfield explaining grief to Elmo doesn’t hit you in the feels, you have no feels.

WAIT, WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY, STEVE MARTIN?

Disney has picked their next CEO to eventually replace Bob Iger. Good luck with that, James Gorman.

Get that bag, Jenna Bush Hager.

Fallout season 2 will begin filming next month, which seems fast (and good!).

Peter Dinklage’s comments about working with Charles Dance on Game of Thrones are very sweet.

David Harbour is warning that the end of Stranger Things is going to be a sobfest.

Steve Howey traumatized his former (and future) co-star Reb McEntire with his Shameless nude scenes.

Oh look: another actor is willing to return to their biggest paycheck. Go figure.

Get better soon, Jeremy Clarkson.

Congratulations, Jennifer Lawrence!
