Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Tim Walz and that weirdo JD Vance will debate on CBS News on October 1. Vance has also said he wants to debate Walz on CNN on September 18. Stay tuned.
Oh, and speaking of that couch-loving dork, let him cook.
There have been multiple arrests in the death of Matthew Perry, including at least one doctor and several dealers.
Whichever Disney lawyer is trying to claim that this man can’t sue Disney for his wife dying of an allergic reaction after eating at a Disney restaurant because he downloaded Disney+ on his XBox years earlier … a special place in Lawyer Hell is waiting for you, my friend. Maybe you can arbitrate your way out of it.
I had no idea that Candace Cameron Bure once played a witch on Boy Meets World, but KUDOS to the person who came up with that idea. Hilarious.
What is remarkable about the incident that happened on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in which the audience laughed when he called CNN an “objective” news source is that both sides of the political spectrum can interpret it for their own purposes. That said, Megyn Kelly, Colbert’s audience is not exactly a right-wing hotspot, so I wouldn’t be crowing about it if I were you.
Ha — Bill Lawrence basically lied about doing a Scrubs reboot to get people to stop asking him about Ted Lasso season four and everyone, including your neighborhood blogger, fell for it, but now there is some actual momentum behind the idea. (It won’t happen — Scrubs is owned by Disney, and Lawrence has a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. But still!)
Congratulations, Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey!
As someone who suffers from panic attacks, I am so impressed with both how this meteorologist handled the situation and how his colleague lept in and saved the moment with calm, compassion, and information. Genuinely deeply moved. Oh, and normalize talking about mental health.
