Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
We have a new Bachelor and we didn’t even have to wait until the insufferable “After the Final Rose” to find out that Grant Ellis is our guy, making him the second Black Bachelor and the first from Houston (that I can think of). (I will note that on Jenn’s season, he also claimed to be from New Jersey, so born in Jersey; now living in Houston? Unclear.)
I will admit, Grant wasn’t my favorite going into Jenn’s season, with the flashy “look at my fancy car” video introduction and the way he chose to beatbox at her upon leaving the limo. But in last week’s episode, he was the voice of reason while the other men were melting down and he acquitted himself nicely on his one-on-one date with Jenn. I dunno … I like this choice? maybe? we’ll see?
ABC made the announcement early so that people will apply, so make your move ladies:
We are announcing Grant so quickly so people can still apply to be on his season. If you think Grant is potentially the man of your dreams or you know someone who is apply ASAP!!! #TheBachelor

Paramount Television Studios is shuttering and all current TV projects made there will be moved to CBS Studios. From what I can tell, those shows include the Jack Ryan series at Prime Video and Time Bandits at Apple TV+.
On Watch What Happens Live!, Bowen Yang said a male host made multiple Saturday Night Live cast members cry, so obviously there is lots of speculation. Eddie Murphy is most people’s guess, but Pajiba has some other interesting contenders.
Max with ads is being folded into your DoorDash subscription. You can get the ad-free Max with the DoorDash subscription at a $6 a month discount.
Benioff and Weiss like to play mean pranks on their cast members and the cast members don’t care for it, is what I took away from this story.
CNN’s Kaitlin Collins was shocked when Stephen Colbert said that CNN was an objective news channel and the audience laughed. The truth hurts.
Kim Zolciak says that she has PTSD from being on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and I don’t doubt it.
The Democratic National Convention will stream live on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube next week.
The Veep will host governors at the DNC.
