Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Pat Sajak’s final episode of Wheel of Fortune was watched by 11 million people, the most since 2020.
We could have had an adaptation of Song of Achilles. Maybe we still can? Anyone? Please?
Max may have canceled Tokyo Vice, but it sounds like the creators are shopping it around elsewhere.
James Gandolfini donated to MS organizations in support of Jamie-Lynn Siegler secretly, which she only found out about after he died, so that’s bittersweet.
The time John Mulaney trauma-dumped on Ernie the Muppet is also bittersweet. Like, I get it? I don’t know that I would be normal if I ran into Ernie or frankly any Muppet? There would be tears. Tears would definitely be involved. But also, Ernie doesn’t know what to do with all your big feelings, John Mulaney. Maybe leave that stuff to the professionals, honey.
Andy Cohen claims that any rumors about recasting The Real Housewives of New Jersey are untrue … for now: “There will be no decisions made for many months on Jersey, so anything you read about casting on Jersey is not true.” This is what we call a non-denial denial.
Apparently, even the cast of Apple TV+’s Presumed Innocent didn’t know who the murderer was until they filmed the final episode, which is interesting, because the first episode sure felt like a faithful retelling of the original movie.
The Daily Show points out that Fox News makes sense … if you swap out Hunter Biden and replace him with Former President Criminalpants.
This is very inside baseball, but if you’re interested in what the hell is going on over at Paramount, Variety has a good long-form piece. The long and short of it is, Paramount decided that they could cut jobs, eliminate duplication, and reduce debt without having to sell themselves to someone else who would just do the same thing. So … expect some cancellations down the road. Also, they are looking into possibly doing some sort of merger between Paramount+ and Peacock, which is interesting. Keep an eye on that.
Meghan Trainor is fun, but she’s no Katy Perry/Jennifer Lopez/Paula Abdul, let’s be honest with ourselves, guys.
Congratulations to 90 Day Fiancé’s Anny Francisco and Robert Springs!

Jerry West, Legendary basketball player, General Manager, and inspiration for the NBA logo
The reason Jerry West is the logo for the NBA is because he embodied the qualities we admire in our best athletes: skills as a player, dedication as a teammate, and integrity as a person. He was my coach, and my advisor, but mostly he was my friend. Today, a part of the continent… pic.twitter.com/oUOxelWavo

I met Jerry West for the first time in 1979 at the Forum where he introduced me to Bill Sharman, Chick Hearn, and then Laker owner Jack Kent Cooke. My father, agent and I negotiated over lunch then Jerry took me to the locker room to show me my Lakers jersey. I started to cry and… pic.twitter.com/o9xMDu50Wv
