The end of the TV season is upon us. Here’s what you watched … and what you did not.

Just a little possum with big dreams in the big city:

All Other TV News

According to this list, which excluded news, sports, and The CW, these are the ten most-watched and least-watched series on network TV this year. (Had The CW been included, that least-watched list would be all CW shows.) The least-watched list does make me wonder why Mr. Mayor was canceled, and Grand Crew (which I do enjoy) was renewed, though. Maybe Mr. Mayor’s budget was too high? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OK, I challenged you to guess how many TV shows there were out there a couple of months ago. Now I challenge you to guess how many minutes of TV Americans watched in the past 8 months. Go ahead, guess.

Bridgerton season three will skip ahead to Penelope and Colin’s story, instead of focusing on the subject of the third book, Benedict Bridgerton.

Wanda Sykes is still real mad at Will Smith.

Congratulations to Ukraine for their big Eurovision Song Contest win!

Cancelation is not a thing.

Netflix is now telling their employees to fucking quit if they’re offended by their offerings ~cough~ Dave Chappelle ~cough~.

Netflix is also exploring live-streaming for some unscripted shows and comedy specials.

NBC wanted The Office to go on for at least two more seasons. Thank God they turned it down — it went on far too long as it is.

The documentarians who made The Staircase say they feel betrayed by the creators of the HBO Max series’ portrayal of them, arguing that the limited series suggests that they gave Michael Peterson a favorable edit. (I mean, I’ve seen the documentary, and I think it’s pretty hard to argue that they didn’t give him a positive edit, but sure.)

Speaking of The Staircase, the production designers were able to recreate the house’s staircases precisely because the original house happened to be up for sale, and they were able to visit it several times.

Of COURSE Fox has zero regrets about having Rudy Giuliani on The Masked Singer. IT’S FOX.
