Fox Corp LGBTQ employees are reportedly outraged at Fox News’s recent coverage of the GOP’s attacks on the LGBTQ community. Fox Pride, “the resource group for LGBTQ+ workers and allies across Fox brands,” released a statement in an internal Slack message condemning Fox News’ recent coverage, specifically of Disney and Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

“Fox Pride denounces statements made regarding sexual orientation and gender identity on FOX News in the past week. While the internal support and resources Fox Corp. offers to LGBTQ+ employees are amazing and supportive, the public facing messaging and rhetoric is the opposite. We find it disheartening and a step backward in the acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.”

“FOX News is one of the most watched cable networks in the nation, and we must be mindful that the impact these words have on the LGBTQ+ community—especially youth. LGBTQ+ youth have the highest rate of suicide and words matter. Hateful words and generalizations about sexual orientation and gender identity have a direct impact on people’s lives. We are working to address and make sure our voices are heard.”

I mean, good for them for taking a stand, but also, maybe don’t work for such a hateful propaganda machine?

It sounds like the real villain from Bad Vegan, Anthony Strangis, has been up to his shenanigans again, this time preying on Jennifer Van Laar, a RedState writer, whom he married and divorced back in 2021. Van Laar is the reporter that leaked the photos of Democratic Congresswoman Katie Hill, which led to her resignation. It’s a very weird story.

Did you know that when you sign up for a streaming service through a device, like a Roku or a Fire TV, the device company takes a cut? I mean, it makes sense, I just somehow was unaware. Anyway, Roku might be in trouble, which explains why they’ve been trying to push out original content lately.

Speaking of, do you want a dumb TV, one that won’t sell all your information? Good luck with that!

This twenty-minute video argues that The Simpsons didn’t really become “The Simpsons” until the third season episode, “Flaming Moe’s.” It’s an interesting argument for Simpsons nerds to argue over.

NO, GRANDPA, LET IT GO.

Welcome to Wrexham will debut on FX on Hulu sometime later this year:
