Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
NBC News, who has to be tired of this shit, said in a comment, “Kristen is one of the best in the business and we stand by her.”
Mike Judge would like the rights to Beavis and Butt-Head back now, thanks.
Nicole Kidman is a witch. (Not surprised, honestly. Anne Hathaway is one, too. All the cool kids are practicing.)
Speaking of Nicole Kidman and Anne Hathaway, Hathaway will be co-starring in the Days of Thunder sequel with Tom Cruise. The first film is where Kidman met Cruise, but Hathaway is safely married with two (almost three) kids, so there’s not much threat of her being pushed into a contract marriage for Scientology purposes.
Oh, and some crazed lunatic has-been is disappointed in the Hathaway casting and wants Kidman to return. That’s not going to happen for so many reasons, but also, no one asked you, Randy.
Jon Stewart on the President Pathetic’s insecurity:
“There is nothing more fragile than someone who wields real power, who feels that that power will be diminished by satire or commentary. It’s kind of a shocking fragility, for someone who wants to project alpha male dominance and yet be so incredibly wrecked by something that happens at 12:30 at night. I mean, he’s made all of our shows relevant again in a weird way.”

The Met and the Met Gala won’t be honoring John Galliano after all. Huh.
According to “sources at Hulu” (Taylor Frankie Paul), they are going to continue working with Taylor Frankie Paul on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. (I actually am just being sarcastic about the source being Paul; I’m sure Hulu recognizes she’s a cash cow and that folks are dying to see her return to the trainwreck show.)
Bill Maher is going to Bill Maher. I don’t even care about the dumb boob joke: Dolly always had a good sense of humor about herself. But I do take exception to his suggestion that the world spent too much energy mourning her. The only real question is why this asshole still has a show and who still watches it.

Hey — just get used to this, because I’m going to demand you check on your registration every day between now and October 5. The jackasses in charge of Texas have purged over one million people from our voter rolls in an attempt to prevent folks from voting them out of power. And they have announced they intend to keep doing so. So click on the clicky below and make sure you’re still eligible to vote. And if you’re not registered, please get around to doing so. I know it’s a pain in the ass — they’ve designed it that way. But that’s exactly why you should go through the trouble: because they don’t want you to.
If you are in Texas, you can check your registration here. (And be sure to check a few more times before October 5th, as they intend to keep purging.)
If you are anywhere else in the country, check your registration here.
