Happy Thanksgiving: Let’s get thankful
This year, as every year, I am most thankful for my family and friends. I am blessed to be surrounded by some really wonderful people in my life and I never take that for granted.
I am thankful for the vaccine, for the Biden Administration for distributing it widely and quickly, and, yes, for the previous administration for fast-tracking its approval.
That said, I am very thankful the previous administration is no longer in office and draining all of my emotional energy on a daily basis. I’m thankful they were not able to overthrow the election or to pull off a violent insurrection and that our government stood firm. And I am thankful that the current administration is actually getting shit done for the average American.
I am thankful for continued good health, which as I get older and with you know ~gestures wildly~ everything, isn’t a given.
I am thankful for all of the great TV that has entertained us this year. And I am thankful for all the bad guilty pleasure TV, and yes, even in its own perverse and terrible way, even La Brea even though it gives me heartburn once a week.
And, as always, I am thankful for you, my Foolish readers. You make me feel a little less disconnected in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming and lonely.
