Last call to ruin my fall.

All Other TV News

Hello, friends. The Emmys are this weekend, which means the broadcast fall TV season begins on Monday which means the opportunity for you to force me to hate-blog one broadcast show this fall is about to come to an end. Here’s the poll. You know what to do.

Priyanka Chopra is sorry about the whole The Activist thing:

Usher remains silent while a nation waits with bated breath.

Starz’s wrestling drama Heels is receiving TERRIFIC reviews, but not many folks have seen it (probably because not that many people have Starz). Starz has made the first three episodes of Heels available for free on YouTube, Facebook, and streaming on Amazon, Apple, ATT, Century Link, Charter, Comcast, Cox, Dish, Dtv, Google, Roku, Sling, Verizon and Vubiquity. Go watch it, folks:

LeVar Burton now says he doesn’t want to host Jeopardy! anymore. It’s disappointing, how this all shook out, but I hope his own game show works out, and we can all move on.

You can no longer subscribe to HBO Max through Amazon, but those of you who used Prime Video Channels for HBO Max can now get a 50% discount on an HBO Max subscription. Act fast, though, the deal ends on September 26.

BREAKING: People prefer watching TV in their homes to commuting to work.

Jeff Tweedy covering the Ted Lasso theme song is a single circle on the sad dad Venn diagram.

More evidence that they are actually filming House of the Dragon. Tons of pictures here, and look! A Targaryen! But I’m not sure what is going on with Laenor Velaryon’s hair here. Hmm.

If you have $3 million, you could be the proud new owner of Teresa and Meatball Giudice’s beach house.

God bless the Fox News chyron writer who did this:

Hannah Ann Sluss, best known as the woman Pilot Pete dumped on The Bachelor, is now suing Procter & Gamble, CVS Pharmacy, Target, and Walmart for the use of her image on Downy products.

Take care of yourself, Wendy Williams.

For those of you outside the Houston area, 1. We were hit by a hurricane this week — I don’t mean to be condescending, you might have already known that, but no one I spoke to in Savannah, Georgia, where I happened to be at the time, knew anything about it, and 2. A guy wandered out into the storm dressed as Michael Meyers from Halloween:

He was cited by the police for disorderly conduct.

Bottom line, nice try, dude, but you’re no Hurricane Ike Bear:
