Happy Friday! My friends over at Blue Heron Farm are fostering this little guy they’ve named after the villain in Road House, and I’m thinking that one of you should adopt him. He loves cats! He has a mohawk! He snores!

All Other TV News
Last night I was at a dinner where friends were discussing television, and I was asked if I had watched Sex/Life yet. I have not — the early reviews were terrible, and there is too much great television I haven’t watched yet for me to waste my time on some poorly written soft-core porn. “Episode three, at the twenty-minute mark,” my friend insisted. “Just … that’s all you need to know. The shower scene.” So, then this morning, when this video of Jenna Bush showing Hoda Kotb episode three of Sex/Life at the 19:50 mark showed up in my feed … reader, I had no choice but to find out for myself what all the fuss is about.
@hodaandjenna Hoda’s reaction 😂 #netflix #sexlife #blindreact #hodaandjenna
I must warn you that if you follow my example and check out episode three at 19:50, what you will find is most certainly not safe for work or for the more delicate male egos out there. You’ve been warned. But now you also know what all the fuss is about.
The Television Critics Association announced their nominees for the 2021 TCAs and they’re pretty solid all around. Ted Lasso has the most nominations, because it was the best show of last year, duh.
Speaking of Ted Lasso, Jason Sudeikis is out here trying to win Best Dude of the Year. First, if you haven’t read this beautiful story about him reaching out to a writer after the writer’s father died, do so immediately.
But second of all, Sudeikis wore this shirt to the Ted Lasso premiere last night, supporting the Black players on the English soccer team, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Bukayo Saka, the Black players who have been harassed by racist assholes after they missed their penalty kicks during the Euro final. Because that’s what Ted would do.
Huge love for Jason Sudeikis’s sweatshirt at tonight’s Ted Lasso Season 2 Premier. Shows that like his character, he truly understands that football in his heart, is all about human goodness 🙌 pic.twitter.com/Ye2Tl30WW8

GIVE THIS MAN ALL OF THE EMMYS.
Roadrunner, the Anthony Bourdain documentary, recreated his voice using A.I., and people, including his widow, are pissed.
I certainly was NOT the one who said Tony would have been cool with that. https://t.co/CypDvc1sBP

Additionally, the film excludes Asia Argento, Bourdain’s girlfriend at the time, choosing instead to let other people talk about her and essentially suggest she is responsible for his suicide without allowing her to respond. Argento is a complicated woman and figure in this story, but she doesn’t deserve to be manhandled this way without being able to defend herself.
Dan Harmon is still wrestling with the “movie” part of “six seasons and a movie.”
Manifest continues to be the most popular show on Netflix — 2.5 billion viewing minutes in ONE WEEK — and … I just don’t know, guys. Is this some sort of organized campaign by the fans to get it picked up on Netflix? Y’all know that show is terrible, right?
The Simpsons predicted the future again, sorta. Kinda.
Johnny “Rotten” Lydon is refusing to allow Pistol, Danny Boyle’s show about the Sex Pistols, to use the band’s music and the whole mess is being argued in court. Unrelated but kinda: Lydon is a notorious asshole.
Ruby Rose’s reasons for leaving Batwoman keep changing? Weird.
You’ll be playing games on Netflix by the end of the year if they have their way.
Hahaha, no one wants to pay to see Former President Grifter.
