It is Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.
And I am pretty sure I’ve posted this one before but 1. it gives me great joy and 2. it’s my blog, I do what I want.

Political Crap
This is the only political headline you need today, trust me.
Lame duck pardons turkey: Trump confronts reality at muted Thanksgiving event https://t.co/weKzKZIbvI
— The Guardian (@guardian) November 24, 2020
Next turkey to be pardoned: Mike Flynn.
Also, you’re going to want to watch this video of President Irony pardoning a different turkey a couple of years ago. Time is a flat circle:
Going Viral
Yesterday, America had the highest death toll since May: 2,100 Americans. We increased two million more cases in only two weeks.
But, good news: the government is planning on sending 6.4 million vaccine doses to front-line healthcare workers beginning next month.
Quick change magician David Maas has died from COVID-19. He and his partner and wife, Dania Kaseeva, appeared on America’s Got Talent and The Oprah Winfrey Show among others.
Ghislaine Maxwell has reportedly tested positive and has been in quarantine. Pity.
Boris Epshteyn has tested positive for the virus. What a shame.
People are booking cruises on the vaccine news.
Grey’s Anatomy‘s season is going to only be 16 episodes long thanks to the pandemic. I’m sure it will not be the only series to have a foreshortened season.
All Other TV News
Netflix has removed Chappelle’s Show after Dave Chappelle asked them to since ViacomCBS licensed the show to Netflix without paying him.
Run has become Hulu’s most-watched original movie.
You can buy Baby Yoda’s macarons, but it’s gonna cost you.
BBC’s MasterChef was forced to edit out a contestant due to “health issues,” which just sounds like some bullshit to me. Often if a reality show contestant has some sort of health problem, they use it for story-building and drama. But maybe the Brits are more sensitive about such things (no, they absolutely are not).
Fox News has settled the lawsuit Seth Rich’s family brought against them for spewing hideous conspiracy theories about his death.
Saved by the Bell Hooks is amazing. (bell hooks, for those who don’t know)
Mike Schur has some thoughts and feelings about Thanksgiving and I am here for it:
You have been conditioned, from birth, to think Thanksgiving food is good and important. You never had a vote. It's a religion, and you were indoctrinated. It's not fair, and it's not your fault. There is still time. Start over. Think about what you're eating. It's just not good.
— Ken Tremendous (@KenTremendous) November 25, 2020
And year after year, you dressed up, and your cousins came over, and you ate This Meal. The Important Meal. And year after year, you secretly thought…why? Why is This Meal so Important. You'd had turkey before, obviously, but this turkey…is better, somehow?
— Ken Tremendous (@KenTremendous) November 25, 2020
And then you had the mashed potatoes, and they were good, because they were soaking in butter, but also: you'd had those before. You hated the green beans and didn't eat them. Someone insisted you have cranberries, and you tried them and *they were nasty and awful.*
— Ken Tremendous (@KenTremendous) November 25, 2020
And then everyone talked about The Gravy, Oh Man The Gravy, The Gravy!!!!!, so you poured gravy on a little part of your turkey and it was thick and goopy and maybe made the turkey taste…different? At least it wasn't so dry. But why was everyone losing their minds?
— Ken Tremendous (@KenTremendous) November 25, 2020
You weren't old enough or confident enough to stand up to them, but you knew: it was *fine.* Some of it — the cranberries and green beans and stuffing — was straight up gnarly. But you said nothing. Because *they* kept saying: It Is Amazing!
— Ken Tremendous (@KenTremendous) November 25, 2020
You can keep up the lies and fake enthusiasm if you want. The Turkey Is So Moist! The Potatoes Are So Fluffy! The Stuffing Is Mom's Recipe And She Always Made It The Best! The Cranberries Are Adequate! (Not even orthodox Thanksgiving acolytes can claim cranberries taste good.)
— Ken Tremendous (@KenTremendous) November 25, 2020
Also there's a pandemic, so, just, everyone stay home.

I mean, if I’m being honest, Christmas is just a much better holiday.
