Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly gave an address at Drew University that has been receiving a lot of attention this morning. Kelly said a bunch of things that are being read as anti-Trump but in reality are just PERFECTLY REASONABLE, including: Lt. Col. Vindman was just doing his job; North Korea played President Pitiful; migrants are not all bad people; that it was a mistake for President War Crimes intervened in the case of Eddie Gallagher; and that we don’t need a border wall that spans the entire border.
Additionally, and for our purposes here, he had this to say about the media:
“The media, in my view — and I feel very strongly about this — is not the enemy of the people.”
He went on, “We need a free media. That said, you have to be careful about what you are watching and reading, because the media has taken sides. So if you only watch Fox News, because it’s reinforcing what you believe, you are not an informed citizen.”
Guess someone isn’t looking to be a Fox News contributor anytime soon!
Anyway, thanks, John Kelly. Very brave of you to speak up now that the impeachment trial is behind us and you are no longer in a position to do anything about anything.

Rose McGowen lashed out at Natalie Portman’s fashion statement at the Oscars, calling it offensive to actresses who actually do the hard work. She added:
“Natalie, you have worked with two female directors in your very long career – one of them was you. You have a production company that has hired exactly one female director – you…I am singling you out because you are the latest in a long line of actresses who are acting the part of a woman who cares about other women.
