Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly gave an address at Drew University that has been receiving a lot of attention this morning. Kelly said a bunch of things that are being read as anti-Trump but in reality are just PERFECTLY REASONABLE, including: Lt. Col. Vindman was just doing his job; North Korea played President Pitiful; migrants are not all bad people; that it was a mistake for President War Crimes intervened in the case of Eddie Gallagher; and that we don’t need a border wall that spans the entire border.
Additionally, and for our purposes here, he had this to say about the media:
“The media, in my view — and I feel very strongly about this — is not the enemy of the people.”
He went on, “We need a free media. That said, you have to be careful about what you are watching and reading, because the media has taken sides. So if you only watch Fox News, because it’s reinforcing what you believe, you are not an informed citizen.”
Guess someone isn’t looking to be a Fox News contributor anytime soon!
Anyway, thanks, John Kelly. Very brave of you to speak up now that the impeachment trial is behind us and you are no longer in a position to do anything about anything.
Predictably, President Sore Baby tweeted about it, because he just can’t resist.
Well, well, well, look who’s headed back to the White House.
Here are six theories about how The Bachelor will end this season. Not included is the theory floating around that he ends up with one of the producers. (I personally believe that he chooses Madison but she dumps his ass.)
Tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy will feature the first recurring deaf doctor on a primetime network series.
Liev Schrieber is going around saying that there will be more Ray Donovan. OK, Liev Schrieber.
The Masked Singer is going on tour. (It’s coming to Sugar Land for my Houston readers.)
If you’re one of the six people who are not Netflix subscribers, you can stream To All the Boys I Loved Before for free:

Hmm. Looks like The Walking Dead will be making another detour from the original material.

Melissa Joan Hart posted about a Sabrina the Teenage Witch reunion — but don’t get your hopes up for a reboot, Netflix already has that covered.
Here’s an interview with Michael Easton, the guy who plays Dr. Finn on General Hospital about whether he and Anna will make it. But more importantly, he wrote a book of poetry in real life? What?
Obviously people want Succession‘s Brian Cox to tell them to “fuck off.”
Interesting: the number of pilots ordered by networks has dropped significantly this year.
Congratulations, Joe and Sophie!
Snoop Dogg has genuinely apologized to Gayle King for his threatening remarks, in an Instagram message. More than just a much-needed apology, Snoop Dogg also briefly discusses the importance of being able to admit when one has does something wrong and apologize for it, something we all need to hear especially in these trying times.
Times Up
Jeremy Roenick has been fired by NBC Sports for talking about imagined threesomes with a co-worker, and he’s real mad about it. TOO BAD, ASSHOLE.
In this very good, very interesting piece on Macaulay Culkin, he opens up about his relationship with Michael Jackson and continues to say Jackson did nothing to him. Also, James Franco gets dragged into it.
Comcast shareholders want an investigation into sexual harassment complaints, but Comcast doesn’t wanna and is asking the FEC to block the request. NOPE. NOTHING TO SEE HERE, I’M SURE.
Rose McGowen lashed out at Natalie Portman’s fashion statement at the Oscars, calling it offensive to actresses who actually do the hard work. She added:
“Natalie, you have worked with two female directors in your very long career – one of them was you. You have a production company that has hired exactly one female director – you…I am singling you out because you are the latest in a long line of actresses who are acting the part of a woman who cares about other women. Actresses who supposedly stand for women, but in reality do not do much at all. Of course women in the world will keep buying the perfumes you promote, the movies you make, and think they’re buying into who you are. But who are you?”
