Screaming hamsters, booping cats, sad songs but no TV news.

Hello, internet friends. I am afraid I have places and be and things to do today, and so the TV news is going to have to wait until next week. Until then, I am doing my usual thing: serving up cute animal videos.

This first one, I promise, you will watch over and over again. It is IMPERATIVE you have the sound on:

To quote my husband: It’s like the start of a Prince song!

The song “Moonlight Sonata” always makes me a little weepy. Add to that the fact that “Moonlight Sonata” is being played for an elderly and formerly abused elephant who has lived a hard life, and I WAS A MESS:

And this is a cute animal video in only the most esoteric way, but you guys, YOU GUYS, while we’re talking about songs that make me cry, we have to talk about “Dinosaurs in Love.” THEY DIDN’T SAY GOODBYE, YOU GUYS. ~SOOOOOB~

So let’s end on a less weepy note: In this video, a cat spends a good long time contemplating booping a dog. I don’t know why this is so funny, but there you go:

See you next week!
