But why stop there? BET has published a list of companies who have donated to Trump’s campaign and vocalized support for him. Time to cancel Marvel Entertainment, Wendy’s and Facebook. (Although that last one just isn’t very practical, I’m afraid.)
Additionally, here are some of your other favorite fast food companies who have donated to the Big Mac Enthusiast-in-Chief you might want to avoid:
So here’s a list of companies supporting Trump’s re-election:
– Bang
– inn n out
– chick fil a
– Taco Bell
– McDonald’s
– Wendy’s
– KFC
– Pizza Hut
– Olive Garden
– Waffle House
– IHOP
– Carl’s Jr.So if you see me starting to get thinner and toned don’t ask me why.

I’m just so relieved to not see Whataburger or Popeye’s on the list. In fact, Whataburger has given to an organization that supports Planned Parenthood, and Popeye’s Fried Chicken’s company chair is a big Democratic donor. So if you’re hankering for fast food, spend your money there. Bonus: they are both better than any of the other fast food joints on the list above.
Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Walking Dead, Lone Star Law and a company that owns two radio stations have been slapped with fines by the FCC for broadcasting and “misusing” the Emergency Alert System tones. Jimmy Kimmel Live! used the tone three times in a sketch and was hit with the biggest fine: $395,000; The Walking Dead used it twice in the “Omega” episode and was fined $104,000; but the most ridiculous fine might have been the one levied against Lone Star Law, when the signal was captured on crew member’s phones during filming.
Stephen Colbert was interviewed on Anderson Cooper 360, and had lots of things to say about the current interloper in the White House, including this: “Our president wants to live in a fantasy world where only the way he perceives the world is the way it is, and only things that sort of serve his vision, and he’s also trying to convince us that that is the only world that exists. That’s heresy against reality. That is proselytizing for the most selfish and the basest instincts that the American people, like all people, have. But he is not appealing to the better angels of our nature.”
Comedy supernovas, Carol Burnett, Norman Lear, Bob Newhart, Carl Reiner, and Lily Tomlin, will be honored by The Paley Center at The Paley Honors: A Special Tribute to Television’s Comedy Legends.
We now know the name of Rosita’s baby on The Walking Dead. “Socorro” means help or relief in Spanish, and she will go by “Coco.” Apparently “Socorro” was chosen by Christian Serratos, the actress who plays Rosita, and it is a name that is passed down through the women in her family. I love everything about this.
Here is more — A LOT MORE — on the theory that The OA hasn’t really been canceled at Netflix. Again: spoilers EVERYWHERE, but it is super-interesting and I desperately hope these conspiracy theorists are right.
Sounds like Bachelorette Hannah Brown might be joining Dancing with the Stars this season.
I posted yesterday about Queen Sansa’s costume, and if you want to know more, HBO is releasing a book dedicated to the Game of Thrones costumes. I recently had the opportunity to see a number of the costumes up close — more on that later — and they truly are spectacular.
Ellen Barkin addressed that … controversial episode of Animal Kingdom. Don’t click if you don’t want to be spoiled.
To promote The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on the first day of Emmy voting, Amazon hosted a sale at a Los Angeles Chevron, selling gas for 30¢ a gallon. It created complete chaos. Traffic was snarled, people waited over an hour to get gas — it took some people 20 minutes just to exit the freeway. So, basically, it was like a hurricane was coming.
On Becoming a God in Central Florida‘s first two episodes are now available:
This is an article about Julio Torres dying his hair. That’s it.
America Ferrera and Eva Longoria were among some 200 actors, artists, civil rights and labor activists who signed a letter supporting the Latino community in these horrific times. “We have been smeared by political rhetoric and murdered in violent hate crimes. We have been separated from our families and have watched our children caged,” reads the letter. “But, we will not be broken. We will not be silenced.”
