LOL, Doug Ellin, the creator of Entourage, is SO MAD about Jeremy Piven and Adrian Grenier doing that ad for Jake Paul’s gambling app — a series of words I never thought I’d type together. But as Pajiba points out, the good news is this greatly reduces the chances of an Entourage reunion.
James Talarcio calls his Jimmy Kimmel Live! interview being punted to YouTube what it is: government censorship. “I think it’s the most dangerous form of cancel culture,” Talarico said Thursday. “People at the top, powerful politicians, powerful media executives, censoring what we watch, what we read, what we say. And that, again, should be a concern to everyone who believes in the First Amendment and believes in the freedom of speech.”
Oh, and Kimmel invited Ken Paxton to come on the show. Ain’t no chance that charismaless coward will show up.

Finally, I feel like I have to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of 9/11 in some small way. I know everyone who was alive at that time has their own story, and I won’t bore you with the details of mine, except to say that I had my first son 6 months earlier. I had this baby, and I remember thinking there was no way we would be out of whatever war had just begun on our shores by the time he would be old enough to be enlisted, voluntarily or otherwise. And we weren’t. I was in a deep depression for months, heavy with the weight of knowing that our country had been changed forever. And it had. It doesn’t take a great intellect to be able to draw a straight line from the violence and terror of that day to some significant part of us becoming entrenched in our fear. Some significant number of us were so scarred by that day that we turned to xenophobia, racism, and hate as a form of protection from the incomprehensible. And here we are.
There is only one way to break this fever that overcame us 25 years ago, and that is to vote. Vote every time as though our country depends on it, because it does. Please check your registration status above, or register to vote if you haven’t already. And make a plan to vote, preferably in person and early.
