President Very Stable Genius attacked CNN correspondent Kristen Holmes in the Oval Office yesterday when she asked him if he had been speaking with Kim Jong-un, and if the dictator asked him to scale back military exercises with South Korea. It should be noted that President Tweeter himself had posted on Truth Social:

“Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States has, long ago, agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea” and that he would instruct Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to “substantially reduce the Joint Military Exercises!”

When asked this very reasonable question, President Frontal Temporal Dementia screamed at Holmes, “Be quiet! Be quiet! Be quiet! You’re a fake reporter and you report fake news,” before dragging a teenaged visitor to the Oval Office into it: “Quiet — you’re very disrespectful in front of this young man, OK?” and asked the teen, “Don’t you find her disrespectful?”

Holmes had previously asked about Senator Jon Ossoff’s comments about how all President Epstein Files cares about is “his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.” President Encopresis responded by calling Ossoff a “Pee-wee Herman lookalike.” Sure, grandpa.

Holmes clearly hurt President Toddler’s fee-fees with Ossoff’s comments (and probably got close to the truth about Kim Jong Un), so the White House blasted her on Twitter in a disgusting personal attack:

It’s interesting that it’s the Natalie Harp comment that clearly rattled everyone. 👀👀👀

CNN defended Holmes:

“Kristen Holmes is one of the most respected and accomplished journalists covering the White House. This afternoon, she did her job and asked the President of the United States a tough, relevant, and newsworthy question on behalf of the American people. Public officials are free to challenge reporting they disagree with, but personal attacks on journalists for asking questions are beneath the office and inconsistent with the principles of a free press. We stand firmly behind Kristen and reject these attacks in the strongest possible terms.”

David Ellison’s newest strong-arm move is to demand that the states that are suing to prevent Paramount’s merger with Warner Bros. pony up a $1.88 billion bond to cover the delay costs of the merger. Now, I’m not a lawyer, and I don’t know all the intricacies of contract law, but if I were a judge, I would point out that it was Paramount who wrote into its merger the “ticking fee” that would pay out Warner Bros. stockholders a certain amount of money if the merger was not completed by this October. It’s not the states’ responsibility to cover Paramount’s bad deal-making and lack of anticipation that there might be legal challenges to THE BIGGEST HOLLYWOOD MERGER IN YEARS IF NOT ALL TIME.

And it seems the California Attorney General agrees with me:

In a statement, the A.G.’s office argued that Paramount is a “sophisticated” company that knew it would face regulatory review when it agreed to pay Warner Bros. shareholders a $7 million-per-day ticking fee, and that California should not be made to bear the burden of that decision.

“Bottom line: Paramount went into this process with eyes wide open,” the office said. “They are lying in a bed of their own making, and once again, trying to blackmail us to get us to back down.”

ABC has filed suit against the FCC, claiming its investigations and regulatory actions are a “retaliatory campaign” by the White House and infringing on ABC’s First Amendment rights. GOOD.

I hadn’t thought about how perfect it was for Rosie O’Donnell, one of President Hamhead’s greatest nemeses, to come guest host Jimmy Kimmel Live! until this morning, but kudos, guys. Way to double down on your fight with the FCC.

Matt Guzman, CBS News’ chief correspondent, has been accused of sexual harassment in a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by now-ABC News’ field producer Samira Said.

This is interesting: Alexa Nikolas, an actress who appeared on Zoey 101, has sued celebrity lawyer Bryan Freeman for defamation. Freeman has represented Jason Baldoni, Rebel Wilson, Megyn Kelly, Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon, Tucker Carlson, Chris Harrison and many others. And it was his work on the Baldoni and Wilson cases that alerted Nikolas that Freeman might have been behind the websites that popped up accusing her of making false sexual assault accusations and her current husband being a predator when she was in the middle of suing her former husband, musician Michael Milosh, for sexual abuse. Freeman represented Milosh. I’m keeping an eye on this one because Freeman has been in the middle of many cases where the internet has been weaponized against his opponents, especially women who have made sexual abuse allegations.

WABC news anchor Liz Cho has filed for a protective order against her estranged husband, former CBS journalist Josh Elliott.

David Landsman, Lindsie Chrisley’s ex-boyfriend, has been indicted on multiple counts of aggravated assault and false imprisonment against the reality star.

Atlanta Falcons player James Pearce Jr. has been suspended for half the season without pay after a domestic violence incident against WNBA star Rickea Jackson.
