‘Widow’s Bay’ was renewed for season two! Let’s celebrate at The Salty Whale!

If this doesn’t become a foster fail, I am going to have a meltdown. That’s HIS boy.

We welcomed this sweet boy into our home yesterday. 💕🥹

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

While I was gone, President Jinx went to Game Three of the NBA Finals in New York, and it did not go well for him (or the Knicks).

Following this, President Low IQ got into a fight with Stephen Smith, and I swear to God, if this leads to President Smith, I’m going to burn everything down.

And now he’s threatening to permanently keep up his ugly UFC ring that was erected on the White House lawn for his birthday party. There’s a lawsuit demanding that the event not take place on Sunday, but we’ll see if that goes anywhere sometime today, I suppose. The event is on Sunday, and if the lawsuit doesn’t stop it, it’s expected to be a bug-filled, possibly rained-out $30 million boondoggle that no one interesting will attend. OH WELL.

The Television Critics Awards nominees were announced, and at the top of the list: Widow’s Bay; Industry; and Heated Rivalry led with five nominations each. I’m happy with the nominees, but genuinely feel like Alien: Earth deserved more love.

Wrong Man Bill Maher is wrong. And even wronger again.

On the good news of Widow’s Bay‘s renewal (see below in Renewals), another fan:

Hugh Laurie got sassy with someone on Twitter who criticized the monotony of the plotting of House, and then apologized for being a “thin-skinned twat.”

SNL names favorites.

This week’s unhinged conspiracy theory? That Shakira used a body double in her World Cup performance.

I don’t know how many times I have to tell you people to not be crazy towards actors.

Milania Giudice was arrested last month for simple assault and causing bodily injury, and not to be mean, but this is the least surprising thing I’ve ever read.

GET WELL SOON, SIMONE BILES. I AM SERIOUS. (And to the man who reduced Biles, one of the greatest Olympic athletes in my lifetime, to “NFL Wife” in a headline: watch your back, sir.)

I’m hoping things get better for Kristen Storms and she is able to return to General Hospital soon.

Congratulations, Jim Acosta and Liz Landers!

Kenan Thompson chooses a live sketch for the SNL Rundown and explains the origins of some of his greatest sketches, including “Scared Straight,” “What’s Up With That?” and “Black Jeopardy”:

  1. “The Listeners: … a woman is tormented by a sound that very few others can hear.” So, a series about tinnitus?
