Rory the Frenchie DOES NOT APPROVE of the casting change on The Witcher.
@rorythefrenchie The moment you’ve all been waiting for! What do you think? Do you think Rory likes it? 🤣 She literally grunted and sighed like a thousand times, had to go tell her Henrys about it, and then hid behind the other TV for 20 minutes and glared at me. Someone explain to her that it’s not my fault 😅 #thewitcher #liamhemsworth #henrycavill #newseason #dog
Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Soooooo a few big things happened yesterday: the government reopened, and Arizona Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva was sworn in after being refused her seat by Speaker Mike Johnson. But before she could be sworn in, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released more than 20,000 emails from the Epstein estate, where President Sex Pest’s name was mentioned at least 1,000 10,000 times, and all of his plausible deniability flew right out the window.
Since Congresswoman Grijalva was going to be the crucial signature on a discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files, distributing these emails put pressure on Republicans who had already agreed to sign the discharge petition to not change their mind at the last second. And it worked. President Rapey tried and failed to pressure Republicans to take back their signatures, namely Lauren Boebert, who was brought into the Situation Room by the Attorney General herself, but neither Boebert nor Nancy Mace backed down.
Now there will be a House vote to release the entire Epstein files scheduled for next week. It’s likely to pass and move to the Senate. It’s unclear when — or if — the Senate will take up the issue, and whether or not the Administration will be able to pressure enough Senators to vote against it if it does. But that, unfortunately, is not where it ends: the final hurdle is that since this will be a law, President Mushroom Dick himself will have to approve it … which seems … unlikely. The point is, stay tuned. This could be an inflection point, or it might just be another awful thing that that awful man manages to squirm his awful way out of.
As you might imagine, Late Night had a field day:
