Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

CBS News’ head of standards and practices, Claudia Milne, is the first senior executive to leave since Bari Weiss took over. So that’s not a great sign.

Apple TV and Peacock are combining forces for an ad-supported bundle that will cost $14.99 a month and $19.99 a month ad-free. 

CNN is launching its subscription service on October 28. It will cost $6.99/month.

Remember that Seinfeld episode where Kramer has the Merv Griffin Show set in his apartment and starts a talk show? You can do that with The Tonight Show set, starting with these curtains.

Fun fact: those curtains are part of a large TV memorabilia collection that was owned by a Texan doctor who died this year. I was able to sit at Carson’s desk in his chair when some of this collection was on display at the Paley Center in New York this spring. You can bid on other items from his collection here.

The Stranger Things kids think they won’t get the Game of Thrones finale treatment from disappointed fans. Don’t count your demogorgons before they hatch, guys.

Look, JLo, you can’t go on Watch What Happens Live, a Bravo show, play “Plead the Fifth” and then get huffy when you are asked about your engagement to A-Rod ending because he was involved with a Bravo star. That’s not how ANY of this works.

This slap fight between Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner is becoming kinda funny. 

Gwyneth Paltrow bitching that her biography wasn’t written by the man who has written biographies of Einstein, da Vinci, and Benjamin Franklin is the most Gwyneth Paltrow thing she’s ever said.

I mean, can you blame her?

Good for the press who walked out of the Pentagon. These are dark times, but this is the right thing to do.

Unless you live in New York City, there is genuinely no reason you need to have an opinion on the mayoral race between Zohran Mamdani and Andrew Cuomo (whom Mamdani already beat in the primary, and is currently leading in the polls).
