Aaron Rodgers calls ‘The Bachelorette’ a “bullshit show” and I’m all sorts of conflicted.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Aaron Rodgers is not a huge fan of The Bachelorette:

He told the Netflix team that he “was quiet about” their family issues. “I thought the best way to do it was just don’t talk about it publicly,” he said. Yet, all became fair game when Jordan went on a reality dating show.

When JoJo Fletcher‘s hometown date with Jordan rolled around, his parents, Ed and Darla, as well as older sibling Luke, appeared in the episode, but Aaron seemingly opted out. According to Aaron, he wasn’t even asked. “Not that I would’ve gone,” he stated.

Aaron did have an issue with the setup. “And what do they do? They go on a bullsh*t show and leave two empty chairs,” he said. “They all agreed this was a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous — his words, not mine. That he ended up winning.”

Jordan and The Bachelorette lead eventually ended up getting married in 2022. Aaron did not attend.

OK, I haven’t watched the Netflix documentary about Aaron Rodgers that this is from, but I’m a bit conflicted about all of this. On the one hand, the show did make it clear that Aaron was estranged from the rest of the family (though no one there or in this documentary has explained why). And the producers, desperate to milk the whole Aaron Rodgers connection to its maximum, clearly made the family leave out those two empty chairs. So I can see why Aaron might feel like his brother and his family were exploiting their relationship to him, and why that might piss him off.

On the other hand, if his brother ended up marrying The Bachelorette — which he did — it’s not exactly a “bullshit” show, right? Like a real relationship came from it, so that’s not bullshittery. Also, Aaron Rodgers is an anti-science idiot and complete asshole.

And yet on the third mutant hand, if The Bachelorette isn’t a bullshit show, the term has no meaning. I’m very torn here.

…Aaron Rodgers is only 41? That seems both entirely too old and entirely too young to be that much of a stupid bitch

Disney is pulling a transgender story from their upcoming animated series Win or Lose. Chanel Stewart, the actress who played the transgender character, says she’s disheartened by the move. “I was very disheartened,” adds Stewart. “From the moment I got the script, I was excited to share my journey to help empower other trans youth. I knew this would be a very important conversation. Trans stories matter, and they deserve to be heard.”

TV is getting abortion all wrong.

It sure looks like Paramount used A.I. to remaster I Love Lucy with unintentionally hilarious results. (Click through.)

An interactive Emily in Paris fashion show will tour the U.S. next year.

And HBO is going to monetize the hell out of The White Lotus, because why should The Four Seasons be the only one to make bank on the show?
