Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
George R.R. Martin finally wrote about what has been bothering him so much in regards to House of the Dragon season two, only to take down the post. This is a little spoilery, so proceed with caution.
Basically, he was upset that the show eliminated the character Prince Maelor, who is Aegon and Helaena Targaryen’s youngest son. By not including Maelor, the show eliminated Helena’s choice from the Blood and Cheese execution sequence altogether, which irritated Martin. However, he understood because casting a two-year-old creates all sorts of new issues for a shoot, and the showrunner told Martin that they could still include Maelor later down the road, by having Helena pregnant with him by the end of season two. Except they didn’t do that, and now Martin is concerned about what not including Maelor will do to the story down the line, especially in regards to Helena’s fate.
Martin also threatened that there could be bigger problems if the show goes along with some changes they are considering in seasons three and four. NOW, he took down the post, which is interesting and could suggest any number of things: maybe someone on production reached out and told him they are including Maelor after all? Maybe they assured him they aren’t going ahead with those other changes? Maybe he just thought better of criticizing the show in general? In any event, QUIT WORRYING ABOUT THE SHOW, GEORGE, AND FINISH THE BOOKS.
This slap fight between Disney and DirecTV might keep millions of people from watching the Presidential Debate next week — or, they can just watch it on another channel. (There’s no end in sight in the dispute, btw.)
NFL fans are just going to have to get over themselves, because ain’t no way they are going to ignore Taylor Swift this season. And nor should they! She helped bring in a bigger audience and introduced an entire new generation of fans to the game.

Spectrum Cable customers will now get AMC+ for free.
A Saturday Night Live writer reveals that he thought Kanye West was doing an SNL bit when he interrupted Taylor Swift at the VMAs many moons ago.
No, King of Queens is not a Everybody Loves Raymond spinoff.
