Disney and DirecTV (and U-Verse) are slap-fighting over carriage fees which means I don’t have access to ABC, ESPN, or any of the Disney channels right now. The disruption happened at the beginning of college football season, ahead of the NFL season, and two weeks before the Emmys and beginning of the fall television season. THEY BETTER START NEGOTIATING because even though I don’t personally care about football, this is the kind of inconvenience that will push me to finally cut the cord.

Survivor cast member Ryan Medrano (season 43) won Silver at the Paralympics in the men’s 100-meter T38 final this weekend.

There won’t be any Batman in your Penguin series, sorry.

Lisa Vanderpump and Grandpa Ken’s legal issues just became a little less messy.

Stephen King remains on the case:

Get better soon, Roger O’Donnell!

  1. Man, don’t think it will win or anything, but I had forgotten how mad I was that they cancelled Stumptown after one season til I saw it on the list. It was so good!
