A crossover I am down with: The Boys are here to save the day with Stephen Colbert to get some adorable puppies adopted:
Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Teresa Giudice insists she’s not leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey until Bravo forces her out. Which, yeah, exactly. That’s kinda the point. No one assumed Giudice was going to leave on her own. The question is whether Bravo wants to keep her or any of that cast around. Melissa Gorga gets it.
Oh. So Paramount was bought by a billionaire as a plaything for his son. TO BE FAIR, David Ellison produced a number of very big hits, including Top Gun: Maverick and a bunch of the Mission Impossible movies … which begs the question, is he Scientology? No, not that I can tell, but he clearly has a tight relationship with Tom Cruise. CURIOUSLY, his sister Megan is also a movie producer, and among her films is The Master, a thinly veiled (and not flattering) biography of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
But as for this Paramount merger with Skydance, people have questions. Here are some answers.
Your Honor, which originally aired on Showtime and Paramount+, has found a huge audience over on Netflix, bumping Bridgerton from the top spot. The Netflix bump is weird.
Alec Baldwin’s trial for the shooting on the set of Rust has begun in New Mexico, and you can watch along on Court TV.
Late Night, like everyone else, had thoughts about the Presidential Debate and whether or not President Biden should step aside. The consensus? BOY THE DEBATE WAS BAD FOR BIDEN, but OMG FORMER PRESIDENT DICTATORWANNABE IS SO MUCH WORSE.
I know this isn’t about TV, but I’m not going to shut up about Project 2025 and Former President Shittlefuck’s plans if he gets back into office:

#MeToo
Two beloved authors had deeply dispiriting news break about them this week:
Two women have accused Neil Gaiman of sexually assaulting them with “painful and degrading sex” within consensual sexual relationships when they were in their twenties, and he was much older. Gaiman denies the allegations, and called them “disturbing.”
Vanity Fair ran a damning piece on Robert Kennedy Jr. last week, revealing that aside from his years of heroin abuse and the brain worm, RFK Jr. sexually harassed employees, emotionally abused his ex-wife, and ate dog. And what’s remarkable is that it’s the dog thing that will be the most disqualifying thing for most voters.
Sean Combs has been sued by another woman, alleging that he sex trafficked her. He’s also the subject of an ongoing federal investigation.
Former Top Chef contestant Justin Sutherland has been arrested and charged with one felony count of threats of violence with reckless disregard after attacking and threatening to kill his girlfriend. He has lost multiple deals and partnerships as a result.
Former CBS anchor Jeff Vaughn is suing Paramount Global for discrimination, claiming that he was overlooked and that they favored “the hiring of individuals of certain groups and firing or refusing to hire older, white, heterosexual males.” Former Houston ABC13 reporter Chauncy Glover is one of the targets of this lawsuit, which alleged that Glover had “minimal” experience, “despite the fact that the three-time Emmy Award winner worked at ABC13 for eight years. Prior to Houston, Glover worked at WDIV in Detroit. He started the Chauncy Glover Project, a yearlong college mentoring program for boys, which continues in Houston.” Vaughn, it should not surprise you, is being represented “by America First Legal Foundation, a conservative group founded by former Trump adviser Stephen Miller.”
Ellen DeGeneres performed stand-up last week in California on what she is calling a retirement tour, where she said “I am many things, but I am not mean.” A day later, she canceled several of her tour dates without giving an explanation. What is going on there?
U.K. presenter Holly Willoughby’s stalker who had plotted to kidnap and rape her was convicted last week. She was forced to leave her job at This Morning for her own safety after the plot was exposed.
“As women, we should not be made to feel unsafe going about our daily lives and in our own homes,” she said. “I will forever be grateful to the undercover police officer who understood the imminent threat, and to the Metropolitan and Essex police forces for their swift response.
She thanked others involved “for ensuring that justice was done and that the defendant will not be able to harm any more women”, adding: “I would also like to commend the bravery of his previous victims for speaking up at the time. Without their bravery this conviction may not have been possible.”
OK, but why are we out here giving these men prizes? MULTIPLE PRIZES? Also? ALSO? Sharon Stone? It’s ok to just BE QUIET.
