As Former President Individual One begins his criminal trial, I find myself developing a new respect for ~checks notes~ Reacher?

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Reese Witherspoon thinks that the lack of transparency at streamers is going to kill the concept of the movie star, but I’m skeptical. But honestly, of all the effects streaming has had on the business, the fate of “movie stars” is the least of my concerns.

Will Law & Order: Organized Crime move to Peacock or sleep with the fishes?

Former President Criminal Intent’s “hush money” criminal trial begins today in New York, so today’s a pretty good day. If you want me to give a breakdown on what this trial is all about, I’m happy to do so.

Reacher‘s Alan Ritchson, who is a Christian, gave an interview to The Hollywood Reporter where he said, and I gladly quote: “Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treating him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal. I don’t understand it.”

You can imagine this pissed off a number of Reacher fans, but guess what? Ritchson believes in having principles over keeping fans, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

This was from Ritchson’s Instagram from 2020, so these people just weren’t paying attention:

We need Presidential Debates this year more than ever.

Taylor Swift approved of Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s cover(ish) of “All Too Well” on Saturday Night Live.

And if you were wondering, yes, Theresa has to return the ring.

The Writers Guild Awards were held last night, and the winners in the TV category — namely Succession and The Bear — are both correct, but hardly surprising. Also in attendance was Drew Carey who was thanked for paying for writers’ meals during the strike, but as he said: “I don’t think I should get that much credit for doing the right thing … you writers, The Drew Carey Show writers, made me a fucking million. Everybody in this room makes some actor a million, and you deserve all the money you get, all the credit you get. Thank you so much for everything you do. God bless all of you.”

Is Kyle Richards going to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? (No, never.)

Jax Taylor regrets claiming Vanderpump Rules is scripted. I’d be careful, Jax, Bravo’s lawyers are certainly not in a good mood these days.

Uh-oh, Michael J. Fox is going full “back in my day,” but he’s technically a Boomer, not an Xer, so I’m going to let it pass.

Megan Fox has some kind words for Chelsea on Love is Blind: “I did see a picture of her,” she said. “A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, ‘You kind of look like Megan Fox.’ So I believe she’s telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn’t steal it from her. Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn’t happen to her. Best wishes and blessings.”

So, there was a streamer called Vudu, which is now going to be “Fandango At Home” and they have struck a deal with Turner Classic Movies to stream the network’s library of films for free. Which is great! But will they be interrupted with ads?

In honor of my late father who loved this show for reasons I can’t explain, please enjoy this tribute to Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
