Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Jesse Armstrong, the creator of Succession, toyed with ending the show without naming a successor — which I would have fully respected, but viewers would have rioted, if the finale of The Sopranos is any lesson. Armstrong also adds that while he never intended to make audiences sympathize with these terrible people, he’s not surprised that people do:

“The show takes more of a psychological view than a Marxist one. That’s the level at which I do have a lot of sympathy for the characters and I would hope that the audience does too,” he said. “They are pretty bad. They do bad stuff. But you see where they come from psychologically. That’s one of the tragedies of those kids’ lives.”

The mystery of Cookie Monster’s cookies has finally been revealed. TL;DR: they are technically edible, but you really don’t wanna.

Apparently, The Queen’s Gambit was originally going to be a feature film, and it was to be Heath Ledger’s directorial debut.

There is a universe out there in which Monk was Kramer.

THERE WERE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WERE CRITICAL OF DOLLY PARTON’S HALFTIME SHOW? WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES, I HAVE SOME THINGS TO SAY TO THEM.

The French have their berets in a twist over their version of Jersey Shore called Frenchie Shore, and it’s pretty hilarious.

Jorge Ramos is also pissed about the Univison interview with Former President Not Sending Their Best.

Mark Hamil has hung up his Joker role.

And don’t be holding your breath for another season of Scott Pilgrim.

This person isn’t buying what Golden Bachelor Gerry is selling.

Just going to leave this here:

@msnbc

Rachel Maddow joined Chris Hayes for a live taping of his podcast “Why Is This Happening?”, to talk about how authoritarianism has succeeded in the past and how the same tactics are used today. According to Maddow, sowing distrust in institutions “is part of the authoritarian project, and it always has been.”

  1. I loved Scott Pilgrim Takes Off – SPvsTW is a favorite movie of mine. They absolutely should just leave it as a one season series. No need to mess with a good thing
