Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Happy 10th anniversary of perhaps the most traumatic episode of television of all time: Game of Thrones‘ “The Rains of Castamere,” colloquially known as “The Red Wedding.”

“I remember a lot of crying because at the end of it, I was going to be apart from my family that I had lived with for five years — my on-screen mother and my wife and this crew that had spent a lot of time together, so it was traumatic not only to shoot but traumatic because I was losing my family,” — Richard Madden

Here are 10 things you didn’t know about the episode (they are mostly about the mechanics of filming it).

This writer is still traumatized.

And Collider has a good explanation for what makes this episode one of the greatest hours of television of all time. “It’s a senseless act of violence that somehow makes perfect sense.”

GASP!! PADMA IS LEAVING TOP CHEF!! After 17 years and 20 seasons, she’s packing her knives and going.

Y’all: there is going to be a special Yellowjackets episode between seasons two and three:

The Norman Lear Foundation did a study on the depiction of gun violence on popular television shows, and this is going to shock you … but there’s A LOT.

Chris Licht wanted Former President Dingus’ town hall to be “extra Trumpy,” because of course he did.

There’s a nasty lawsuit happening over at Shark Tank, in which Daymond John has sought a restraining order against three former contestants who claim he took over their business and denied them their share of profits.

Even though it makes up more than half of Max’s content, only 20% of what is being viewed on the app is Discovery material.

There’s a good chance several genre shows will be recognized by the Emmys this year, but it doesn’t matter because Succession will crush them all.

Coach Beard clarified that the final sequence in Ted Lasso really happened, that it wasn’t all a dream of Ted’s before he got off the plane. It felt to me very much like an homage to the final sequence in Raising Arizona, which H.I. explicitly tells us is a dream, but we hope is exactly how the future unfolds. (And which makes me cry every single damn time.)

Nick Mohammed has shared the first page of Nate’s apology to Ted:
