Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Here are all the behind-the-scenes details of Love is Blind that you know you wanted to know. For instance: the contestants spend the night at a hotel, not there in the “pods” or the lounge, which of course makes sense, but I never really thought about it. The gold goblets on the shelves are glued down so that contestants don’t knock them over. And the producers encourage contestants to “talk about important subjects like finances, parenting and religion.” DO YOU HEAR THAT, BACHELOR PRODUCERS?

Brett Goldstein reads Twin Peaks theories as a way to relax. Same same.

OK — it looks like The Boys have officially wrapped filming on season four, so that means only, what, a year before we get the show back? ~begins weeping~

Tom Sandoval went on Howie Mandel’s podcast (and let’s just pause here for one moment to appreciate those words put together in that sequence) to defend himself ahead of the big Vanderpump Rules reunion and the Vanderpump Rules producers are hella pissed. Andy Cohen also took a swipe at Howie Mandel on last night’s Watch What Happens Live! for not knowing what he was talking about.

Here’s a shocker: Fox News will host the first Republican Presidential Primary debate and oh my God it will be in August. I am not ready for another presidential election, you guys. Can we postpone this one for just a couple of years?

Chris Harrison says Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss is a narcissist. Yeah, no shit.

Did Justin insult the Wheel’s mother?

Prince Harry will attend King Charles’ coronation; Meghan Markle will stay home with the kids.

WEEKEND VIEWING RECOMMENDATION: If you haven’t already, binge Beef on Netflix. It’s dark, and can sometimes feel hard and grim as at its heart it is a rumination on loneliness, on trauma, on trying to connect with someone — anyone — in this broken world. But it’s also slyly funny, with moments of genuine revelation and strangeness. And it is perhaps Steven Yeun’s best performance to date. He’s magnificent and I do hope the Emmys take notice. Ali Wong is also amazing, as is the supporting cast. I binged all ten episodes in two days, no regrets.

The series, in which Yeun’s Danny and Wong’s Amy’s initial encounter of road rage quickly escalates into increasingly dangerous acts of revenge, is at the moment a limited series. However, the creator Lee Sung Jin says that he has plotted out two more seasons if Netflix is game. Yes, please.

Also: Here’s an interview with the creator about those final two episodes.

Also: crows.
