Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
We have some promotional photos for the finale of House of the Dragon which will air this Sunday. Now, if you click on the clicky, there are some spoilery descriptions of what is happening in the photos, so I’m just going to post a few captionless ones here, for those of you who are curious but don’t want to be spoiled.
As for what is going to happen in Sunday’s episode, it’s a solid guess that it is going to get DARK — figuratively, but also probably literally if episode 7 was any indication. I’m just saying, people are going to die. Or at least one person is going to die. Warming Glow takes on some of the theories about what will happen moving forward, but I will note that there are some book spoilers in there for things that certainly won’t happen until future seasons, so tread carefully if you want to remain unspoiled.
One of the fan theories that is kicked out there that doesn’t really have any impact on the finale is that it’s possible Halaena’s twins are fathered by Aemond, instead of Aegon, based on this little teeny bit of audio one viewer noticed in last week’s episode:
they are really going with the kids are Aemond's because listen after Alicent say "Father" the twins are babble "Aemond" pic.twitter.com/meMdL47q6E

HMMMMMMMMmmmmmm. Maybe! What makes this an interesting theory is that if they are Aegon’s children, they are before him in the line of succession. However, if they are his children, that restores him to second in line to the throne. Something to chew on.
