Elvira’s 40th Anniversary, Very Scary, Very Special Special: The horror icon’s 40th anniversary is here, not that you can tell it by looking at her, and Shudder is going to celebrate her with a movie marathon. Shudder

Promising Young Woman: I hesitate to call this a “comedy” but it is a very dark revenge thriller about gender politics that is well worth your time.  7 p.m., HBO
