Kevin Can Fuck Himself premieres on AMC+ this Sunday and AMC on Sunday, June 20, and from everything I’ve read about it, it’s a wild, surreal ride. It’s a dark meta-comedy about a sitcom wife who snaps, and breaks the bright reality of her sitcom life in which she’s married to schlub and realizes her only purpose seems to be to set up his jokes. The New York Times is calling it “An indictment of white male entitlement, it is both a tribute to and a reassessment of the traditional multicam,” and I’ve already set my DVR.
Related: The New York Times also broke down all the “Kevins” throughout recent sitcom history, and reminds us how people LOST THEIR DAMN MINDS when Lena Dunham’s character on Girls hooked up with Patrick Wilson, because while Kevin James can land a Leah Remini, a less attractive woman is never allowed to have sex with a more attractive man. FORBIDDEN.
ABC is in no rush to replace Chris Harrison, and why would they be rushing? The soonest they’ll need someone is this fall for the second Bachelorette, but I suspect they won’t name anyone until The Bachelor returns.

COFFEEGATE IS BACK, and it was Game of Thrones‘ showrunner Dan Weiss’ cup all along?
Meanwhile, we’re never getting those last Game of Thrones books because Martin’s over here working on a GODDMANED VIDEO GAME.

I genuinely don’t understand why Netflix canceled Jupiter’s Legacy.
Mindy Kaling’s HBO Max series about Velma Dinkley will have no dog, no van, and Velma will be East Asian. AND YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT, WHITE PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET.
Disney and Starz are having a fight but it’s super boring.
