After telling Entertainment Tonight that a 30 Rock reboot is basically never happening, Tina Fey said, “Amy’s (Poehler) willing to do a Parks & Rec reboot. Maybe we should just do a Liz Lemon, Leslie Knope spinoff.” GOD DAMN YOU, TINA FEY. GOD DAMN YOU DIRECTLY TO HELL FOR SUGGESTING SUCH A THING WHEN YOU KNOW FULL WELL IT WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN. HOW DARE YOU BREAK MY HEART LIKE THIS. HOW DARE YOU. I AM REMOVING YOU FROM MY WILL.
Meanwhile, we’re still waiting to hear about that Roseanne spinoff.
A couple of other notes about George R.R. Martin’s blog post that I should have mentioned yesterday: 1. he notes that one of the five spinoff ideas has been nixed, but the other three ideas are still moving forward:
As for the other successor shows… if you have been following along, you know that we started with four, and eventually went to five. One of those has been shelved, I am given to understand, and of course Jane’s pilot is now moving to film. But that does not mean the others are dead. Three more GAME OF THRONES prequels, set in different periods and featuring different characters and storylines, remain in active development. Everything I am told indicates that we could film at least one more pilot, and maybe more than one, in the years to come. We do have an entire world and tens of thousands of years of history to play with, after all. But this is television, so nothing is certain.
and 2. that the new pilot won’t distract him from Book 6. WHATEVER, GEORGE. STOP BLOGGING AND WRITE, GEORGE.
Ranking the good and evil on Game of Thrones.
The head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke on the Lord of the Rings series: “It’s not a remaking of the movies, and it’s not a whole new thing. It’s something in between. It’s not, ‘Oh, it’s Lord of the Rings but you don’t recognize anything in it,’ but it’s not totally familiar to you either. So it’s original.” So that clears things up.
As for Transparent, she has no idea what the final season will be. “Is it a full series? Is it four episodes? Is it a movie?” I DON’T KNOW, LADY, YOU’RE THE ONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO KNOW.
Wait, there might be a One Tree Hill reunion of some sort happening?
Clear Donald Trump’s schedule, there is a BATTLE OF THE SHARK PROGRAMMING coming this summer.
One of the editors of The Staircase was romantically involved with Michael Petersen during the filming of the documentary but claims that it didn’t affect the narrative. OK. SURE. And here’s an interview with the director of The Staircase if you’ve been binging the documentary on Netflix like me.
Alec Baldwin thinks he could become president.

A viewing guide to the World Cup. I am only posting this for my husband, honestly.
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are now engaged having been dating for about a month. Good luck with that, kids. (But just THINK of the pressure Colin Jost and Scarlett Johannsson must be feeling right now.)
Chase Utley + Mac is a marriage I could get behind, however.
