After filming for 16 hours, K.J. Apa, the star of Riverdale, fell asleep while driving home and was in a car accident. Don’t worry, he’s fine. His car, not so much. But the accident has “ignited a firestorm of protest” from the cast and crew, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Cole Sprouse, Apa’s co-star, reportedly asked production for transportation for cast members — suggesting that transportation was not previously provided. But now that SAG-AFTRA is headed to the set to check things out, the studio is loudly claiming that of course they offered Apa a ride, anyone can have a ride if they just ask for one. Momma smells a lawsuit.
Here is a good piece arguing that the most recent Game of Thrones spinoff that was announced will be about The Dance of Dragons, the Targaryen civil war. Of course, considering there are five spinoffs in the work, it’s a preposterously safe bet that one of them will be about The Dance of Dragons.
Gal Gadot and Kumail Nanjiani will host Saturday Night Live this season with musical guests Sam Smith and Pink.

Why aren’t you folks watching Marvel’s The Defenders on Netflix? Is it Marvel superhero fatigue? Because I’m fatigued just hearing about all these Marvel series.
“See the complete series.” So … if it’s complete, does that mean it’s complete complete? As in already canceled?
