Rosie O’Donnell shows off just how perfect she would be on ‘SNL’ as Steve Bannon. Are you listening, ‘SNL’?

MY FRIEND! MY FRIEND MADE THIS, YOU GUYS!¬†(Alright, so technically @thejohnnysmith is one of my sister’s dear friends from college, but we’ve been pals¬†for years.)

I know him elf .gif

Jonathan is an actor (and HSPVA grad) who you might recognize from that Taco Bell ad with the annoying hipsters? He was Annoying Hipster In Charge, Alan:

He also happens to be¬†a talented digital artist. Upon hearing the hilarious story that Trump was¬†most irritated by the fact it was¬†a woman who portrayed Sean Spicer in¬†Saturday Night Live‘s impersonation of him — and that it made Trump mad at¬†Spicer, as if he had any kind of control over it¬†–Jonathan¬†made this BRILLIANT mashup of Steve Bannon and Trump’s number one nemesis, Rosie O’Donnell, to encourage Saturday Night Live to ditch the skeleton costume and cast Rosie already.

And it went crazy viral. So viral, in fact, that Rosie herself changed her twitter profile picture to the image.

There’s no word yet as to whether she will be playing the role — although she has said she is ready and willing — but I can not imagine a more perfect thorn in Donald Trump’s side. In fact, considering how angry Trump was about Melissa McCarthy portraying Sean Spicer, I think an American hero inside the White House needs¬†print out a copy of this image and leave it on the Oval Office desk — or, we could all do our part and tweet it at¬†@realDonaldTrump.

Related: Christine Baranski wants to play DeVos. Personally,¬†I think Kate McKinnon portrayed her just fine but it’s fun that more stars want to get into the “irritate Donald Trump” game.

This a great piece detailing the long, complicated relationship between Donald Trump and Saturday Night Live. It’s deep and weird.

In other Trump/comedy news, Stephen Colbert is finally closing in on Jimmy Fallon’s ratings, and it’s probably because Colbert is willing to be much more political.

Here’s an interesting piece about how in the age of Trump everything feels like a commentary on his presidency. Even when it is not.

Save us, The Walking Dead, you’re our only hope!
