President-elect Trump is going to remain an executive producer on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and why are we even surprised anymore? This is just what reality is now, God help us.

So our President will also be a TV producer while he is in office. Why is this a problem? Aside from the weird optics of the leader of the free world being actively involved with a reality TV show, there is the question of how this relationship might influence his relationship with NBC News, or if this might violate equal time considerations. We are living in weird times, people.

Speaking of Celebrity Apprentice, Mark Burnett is reportedly helping Trump with the inauguration. I can’t wait for the tribal council part of the event. Fun reminder, it was two months ago that Burnett put out this statement: “I am not now and have never been a supporter of Donald Trump’s candidacy. I am not ‘pro-Trump.’ Further, my wife and I reject the hatred, division and misogyny that has been a very unfortunate part of his campaign.”

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton reemerged from the woods, and warning us about the very real danger fake news poses.

I am just going to keep posting Seth Meyers talking about Donald Trump as long as Seth Meyers keeps doing an amazing job talking about Donald Trump. Here he is fact-checking the Carrier Deal:

Speaking of Seth Meyers, he’s hosting NBC’s New Year’s Eve special instead of that insipid Carson Daly, and Jennifer Lawrence, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leslie Jones and Kelly Clarkson will all join him.

OMG, Prince was in talks to do a Netflix reality show. GOD DAMN YOU, 2016. In related news, this collection of stories about Prince is the best thing you’re going to read today, guaranteed.

Here’s a very short trailer for your Doctor Who Christmas special:

Megan Mullally is pretty sure the Will & Grace reboot is going to happen, but considering that anti-Trump video they made and the fact that Will & Grace is on NBC and Trump’s on-going relationship with NBC, I wouldn’t be holding my breath, Megan Mullally.

Exhausting things that are exhausting: Emmy Rossum does not earn as much for her work on Shameless as William Macy. Yes, he’s been in a bunch of movies, but she’s the damn star of the show.

Other things that give me a headache: Someone is giving Aaron Sorkin a trophy for his writing. Blech.

This article about how the Westworld cast dealt with theories and fan speculation is pretty interesting: “For example, Wright remembered talking about Bernard specifically as a ‘computer programmer’ instead of a ‘man.’ He didn’t want to give away anything, but at the same time, he didn’t want to lie to the fans who were putting all this time and effort into solving the maze that was ‘Westworld’ Season 1. ‘I was a little anxious that one of us would slip-up and confirm too much,’ Wright said. ‘I’ve tried not to be too deceptive. I’ve tried to be pretty straightforward, but not misleading.'”

Speaking of theories, this one regarding a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, stock photos and Bernard is a doozy.

You can watch Horace and Pete on Hulu now, Merry Christmas!

Cinemax’s Strike Back has been renewed for a fifth season but with an entirely new cast? Somehow? So it was cancelled, but then it was renewed, or is it rebooted? Confused.

NBC has scheduled some of its midseason comedies: Powerless debuts on February 2; Trial & Error debuts March 7; and Great News debuts on April 25.

Simon Fuller is bringing Shame (Skam), the hit Scandinavian teen show, to the United States and people are really excited.

And HBO is developing a J.J. Abrams space drama called Glare, so that’s exciting!

In other development news:

Congratulations, Savannah Guthrie!
